Poker is ability, probability or luck  0
I played many years and never becomes a real good player.
And...i think, i try to beat a machine or excelsior players or scammers.
Your technics are: chronos(god of time), raise in all pre-flop and create a mega snow ball of chips (power of chips). Other players go to all time or only go to sure(me)...
Other mega lucky: go to 2 and 3 all in pre-flop vs AA or similary and winner is 2 and 3...i stay in freeze Shock Confused

Finally, i learnt is necesary all tactics, whitout abuse...
What do you think?

poker is based more on strategy and less on luck, but in the online environment there are rooms with bots, scammers... I don't like this thing because i have also been eliminated many times by them. A good thing is that we can win money, but with bots and scammers the chances decrease. I have a profit from poker, not too much, but it's good that i'm not a loser. Good luck in future Smile

I think is mix of luck and knowledge. Basic math that you know about odds, pott odds, implied odds. In short run luck can have huge impact, but in long run more skilled player will win. In poker if you play seriously they always said " it's a marathon not a sprint" if you do correct deccision then is ok. And another well known, You can learn poker in one day, but you teach poker for life.

Unfortunatelly , for poker skill is needed , unfortunatelly for people like me who are not so good , but foertunatelly on the other hand for pleyers who know what they are doing . You need to watch many tables online , see how they play , the tricks that they use in order to manipulate RNG and get what they want . Yeah , online poker is definetely not the same like live , it differs .

I think, as Antonis said, reviewing a lot of hands online. See videos of how to play different hands or tournaments. And study a lot. If you want to improve, it's not enough to just sit at a table and know that AA is a good hand. You have to know math to know what decision to make based on probabilities, and not feelings or instinct.
You can lose money, but if you hold the line, you will win in the long run.

You must play lot of hands to learn how to react on tables!

When you play freerolls or cash 0.01-0.1, you can win on luck, and then, at high stakes, you need strategy, psychology, and experience.

Hi, anjor1. Poker is a game of skill. But without luck and good mood, it happens that skill does not help.

From every skill you must have something!

In the long run, the skill will win

Probably you are right!

This is ten percent luck
Twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure
Fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name
