hello, today it is difficult for players from some Latin American countries to play poker or casino in large rooms such as party poker, 888poker and others, the same thing happens when making withdrawals if you get any profit, that is my case years ago From Costa Rica I had access to practically all the rooms, but now it is not possible, my country is restricted and to make withdrawals I have to buy bitcoins and then sell them through PayPal. greetings to all.

it's an absurd decision and poker is no longer accessible like in the past. Now the poker rooms are divided in different countries and the players remained with few options.

Nowadays , undoubtfully , there are far more restrictions than in the past at poker , at many other things , it is a paradox of an economy that wants to call herself ''free'' , yet every now and then , every time it will find an excuse to impose more rstrictions , obstacles to poker players , consumers , ecveryone . They want to tell us what to do with our money , where to spend it and where not to spend it , for sure this is an anomaly of the system . Poker players have to adapt , play whereever they allowed to do so .
If you are clever , you can find ways to bypass system obstacles , not always , but many times . Even in countries where great poker rooms are not accessible , you can find 1 or 2 unregulated sites ....ANd VPN then comes in handy ......

in Romania i can't play without a VPN because all unlicensed poker rooms are blocked. None of them can work illegally because since 2016 and until now, nothing like this has happened. I am obliged to play where they offer me.

The bad with the VPN is that , although you are able to have access to the desired poker room , create an account , play , in the end , when the withdrawal time comes , you will not be able to withdraw . Poker rooms nowadays step .very strict , at least the big ones , the regulated ones . They want many proofs of identity and address , or else they won't pay you ,bor even ban you .
It's devastating , to having played many days or weeks , then go for euthdrawi and get a no from poker room . Better be sure for their policy , how much strict they are , make a withdrawal request ASAP , even only 10$ , see if they will pay you ,if yes go play more
It's rediculous to me the way poker rooms are obedient to regulation rules nowadays . As if governments run them , and not individual private companies . I mean , why 888poker gives a f*** for what the Greek government regulates , what the Greek government is able to do to them , to punish them ?? Come on man , in the past there was no problem operating here , now suddenly they run away like chickens , giving players 5 days time to withdraw lol

I would have tried VPN in Party Poker but i don't know if it accepts players from Romania at the moment. I would have liked to send them an email, but the law does not allow me to play there. Restrictions have been made in almost all countries and governments plus poker rooms know better why...

Well , reading about some players that cannot play almost nowhere , only on one unregulated site or somewhere with VPN , this makes me feel better for my country , I mean there are worse than the regulations in my country . At least here in Greece we can play on 2 big rooms , one unregulated site , and a few very small rooms . Things could be worse for sure .
Restrictions are now being introduced in many countries. Politicians do not want to lose a single coin and want to be paid more taxes. As a result, the more obstacles, the faster different business industries die.

Yep that's true what you said Dule. Maybe big markers will stay like germany france and those big countires. But who would even wana do all paper jobs and then even pay taskes and all other obligations you have when you work legaly for small country like Slovenia and 200.-300 players who play activly or maybe even less. If you pro you'l move, If not you'l F.....haha

What happened with Spain , Italy , France (also Portugal) hurt a lot not only the players from those countries , but also online poker generally . Less players means smaller prizepools . The same happened with the US players . These regulations target only one thing , the wallet and portfolio of poker players , it is a matter of time till such restrictions come to every country . Sweden , Holland , some restrictions in Germany and Switzerland , we cannot play homegames or freerolls in many countries , what's up next , which country is next we will see

In Greece , for some years during the financial crisis , the recession , we had problems depositing $$$ to foreign non domestic poker rooms or casinos , I found a way using a specific card , which had crazy rates and fees , monthly and for every transaction . But at least I could deposit . Of course luckily there were the freerolls . I think I couldn't deposit even with Skrill , or only if the money on Skrill came from a Greek card or bank account , don't remember for sure . But it was hard times these restrictions for sure .
