Online gambling sites or poker rooms that offer to play poker for free are great options for new players who would like to get a feel for how exactly a Texas Hold'em game works without spending a single cent.
When you are totally new to the game, it is perfectly understandable that you do not want to invest your hard-earned money in a game you know little or nothing about.

Hello, very true, free games help you develop your game when you just start. I in particular gained experience playing free or micro buy-in tournaments, as I didn't distinguish one hand from another in terms of chances of being a good or bad hand to play and risk.

Yep for total beginners i think is ok to try with free money and see where they are if this is game for them of not. Like i said i prefer deposit bonuses. But when i was starting playing poker i was using those free bankrolls too. But then was much better. You get bonuses for like 50 dollars and poker was easy, allot of good players today start career from those bonuses.

We all like to play poker for free, all poker rooms have freerolls for their players, that is why it is a good initiative to play without risking our money, and that way we get experience to be able to play later with real money.

I also like to play free poker but unfortunately in recent years they have changed the strategy and now the games are much faster and it is harder to win. Even so, for some it is good because it saves time.

Yep they said also that big names like Tom Dwan durrr build his bankroll from those 50 free dollar bankroll but i gues that are just rumors. Or maybe not, i know some slovenian players who did this, they are not top of the world, but the just fall into the game take it seirously and now have a very good income from it.

There are many success stories in poker, I know many players who started from scratch and with a lot of dedication and perseverance have managed to reach the highest levels of poker, we can all make it if we take it seriously.

It is true, many of the online poker players have started from scratch at low limits like NL2 and from there have started to build an empire with study and perseverance, that means that we can all achieve what we set out to do.

you can always earn money from scratch if the free games are nice. Some poker rooms have broken them and now you can no longer enjoy playing their free games. Even NetBet, where it was perfect with freerolls, started to destroy them... from August. However, we can play for real money and occasionally freeroll.

If I had the chance to start over from the beginning , I would play mostly (but not only) freerolls , to build bankroll , to learn the game. I did not know how to pay at all , yet I was playing and losing on a daily basis , depositing evryday . Ofcourse I was playing for fun then , that's why I like playing Omaha despite gret risks , bu yes , sooner or later you will see you cannot go on if you do not know how to play . Freerolls and other opportunities for free tickets or free money are good to keep on playing , keep on learning and win something big one day

unfortunately, poker rooms have changed the freeroll games a lot and are no longer so attractive. I think that they are more and more attracted to profit and offer less, and the games are uglier. I hope they fix it or they will lose customers

there are still rooms that offer very good freeroll to participate, it is not easy to win a tournament but it does not cost you anything, and that way you can accumulate money to play with real money.

Poker rooms still offer free money on freerolls or free tickets or other promotions and chances. So the players can build a free bankroll , wager the money earned and withdraw !!! Very cool . Of course in freerolls the prize pool is not very big most of the times , but on the other hand it's completely free !!! You can play other games on the same poker room or elsewhere , and at the same time play the freerolls to win sth more or win back some of your money if you have losses that specific day
