Hm i dont know if i can promote some book or any other stuff here. But books are long long time no material learning, game is changing too fast and if you play by old books you will be crushed. Maybe for total beginner to get fundamentals but other not. My advice ist better to surch stuff and pay for montly subscribe and learn from videos. Gl buddy.

Super system , harrington on p o k e r , the theory of p o k e r, etc etc . I have far too many books to read , but I do not find the time or the will to sit and read them , lol . Alos another bad fact is that there are too many players who try to pretend they are authorities , excellent writers , that their books will help you , but most of them are below average , their results are for laughs , even if they have someone promoting them and paying the tourney fees , still their results suck

if you google '' best p o k e r books '' you will find best poker books instantly

ps**** when I writwe the word p o k e r without spaces , i cannot see it on the post , it dissapears , why ?? lol

Reading a book will help you , only if the book is very good , like the top3 in the business written by some of the best in the tourneys and cash games , like Harrington or Doyle's . You don't need to read countless books , and most of them talk about the same things , same concepts . Just pick the best books , understand and much as possible , take notes , try to apply what you have learned in the action . The advices about pot odds , implied odds , equity of hand and when to play , call , shove or simply fold (when the odds don't seem good) will come in handy in your poker games ,especially in the online poker rooms .

Every book have something different, just depend what somebody like to read and from which player!

Everyday I will have a look on some of the books or ebooks that I have , not much , some pages only , trying to finish some of them . I believe in 100 years I will have finished reading them all lol . I see in my pdfs e books now , too much garbage by unknown writers , trying to write sth so as to sell a book and earn some $$$ but what they say is more or else repetition of what other poker authorities have said before them , only these so called pros describe the poker terms in a stupid tiring to read way . Lol . I will skip many of these writings , finish these stupid books in less than 10 minutes lol

It's rediculous imo a player who has very little money in winnings , sometimes less than 1M $$$ profit, to write a book , to pretend he is a pro . In many cases , even this 1$ of winnings it's thanks to sponsor money or poker sugar daddies , you should look at the whole picture , winnings minus losses ..

How to play cash game poker is a very important thing for a players career. Online poker strategies and winning tactics are not that simple. The rules of the game are changing. It's quite hard...

In online poker ......... I believe that if you know the basic rules and concepts of poker , then more important than trading countless books , is to learn how to use a HUD and also watch the tables , study hand histories , to learn new tricks , how to manipulate RNG . If you see the regs they do this constantly , most of them won't admit it , yet they use the tricks : call but no shove , shove instead of call , with specific hands , specific moves reward you more in the long run . RNG has leaks , you need to study them . Or else , even if you read 1000 books , still you will be a loser.

More important is the experience on the field , at the games , even if you read countless books , you have to apply the ideas and terms you learned in action , during practice . In online poker it's absolutely essential . I have to know which ranges of hands are good only for HU and which for two or 3 or more players in the pot , the odds that you call or create yourself in every hand is a very important factor to win in online poker . I would love more random ''lucky'' results , but that's not the case in online poker . .

Also the clling/shoving ranges for every position , the number of blinds neccessary for evry move are different in online poker , some hand that you would shove normally with <10 blinds live , online there are different strategies to follow . I am trying to learn them . Copy other players , that demands a lot of time invested , but it's necessary . Books , by themselves , are not enough , but yes they can help you a lot , introduce you some very important terms .
