this will be something new and something different experience for all players, because they are on top of season in their clubs,so they will be in great form, not like on summer when they finish season in clubs, but on other hand its not normal to play in this month, people cant watch all games! some of them will be in 11:00 CET and 14:00,so its too early, most of people work,so we will see how everything will finish!

we are going to have a nice party in 4 days, we know that the World Cup is a tournament that brings together several countries to compete for a trophy and take the glory, many cultures gathered in a single country.

I have the same feeling in every four yeasr before every world cup but we barely get memorable matches nowadays because the majority of players are coming from their clubs tired and overused so their tourney outputs never excite you in the end. It feels like the last good World Cup was in '98 or maybe I just enjoyed it more when I was a teenager.
Posted by dule-vu: I dont agree with you!players play only for two or three months now and on summer after whole season! But its still bad time for world cup!
Buddy they are playing 30+ games in their respective leagues every season, plus most of them are playing in mid-week cup games as well - not mentioning Champions League, Europa League, Copa America games and anything else they are doing with their respective national teams. It's not healthy, it's not sustainable. The human body is not made to bare this kind of physical load every year.

We must always take the positive rather than the negative of this world cup, the thing here is to have fun watching the games, we know the situation of the players who come tired from their clubs, but I'm sure they will give everything for their country and this will be a great show.

good to have all this info in one only post , this news thread is very usefull indeed . i see that teams are going to take a lot of money , the more money they ll win the closer to the final . but still not so much money in comparison to how much many of them win , but still its a good extra motivation to try to win the ttrophy .

there are many things that Qatar is prohibiting in the world cup, that's why I don't like it so much, because it doesn't create a harmonious atmosphere, that people are happy celebrating in the streets in their own way, but that's what they have chosen, I hope that in spite of that everything will be done in the best way.

I am mostly interested to see how the stadiums are filled, whether it is patriotic fans of the respective countries playing or whether it is a VIP freeforall or whether the locals have been directed to attend in different nationality football shirts and to sign songs they have been to,d to learn!

I have personally nothing against the Persian Gulf countries but why would anybody think they are the right destination for a sports event of this scale. It's laughable.

I hope that the World Cup will develop in a better way like other World Cups, that there will be joy in the streets without censorship of anything, and in this way enjoy every game of the World Cup.
