In poker would you rather play at a 5 person table or an 8 person table

I like it with 9 players because it is played a little slower

9 max for me , more hands to play per round , better both in cash games and tournaments . I rarely play a tournament with less than 8 max tables . In cash games , things are tougher nowadays , at least in zoom . Zoom 9 max thatn used to be in the past , now its gone , only 6max . I was forced to adapt , I studied my mistakes ,. saw the renges of cards to call , bet or limp for late position , many mistakes and many big blinds were lost for that cause . But from your mistakles you learn better ,

In my opinion, games at a 9-person table are better, and 6 people is the absolute minimum for the game to make sense. And I prefer the traditional pace of the game, i.e. slow, without turbo, hyper, where for me it's a lottery, and without any fancy things like zoom, etc. And now it's mainly focused on fast games to earn more and faster poker rooms on rake and some games resemble more lotteries than poker, but what do such a trend now prevail

when i play in 6 players, the speed is higher and i don't like it Smile

Most of the time i prefer tables with as much players as possible. 10 or at least 9 players. But sometimes i play at short hand tables. 5-6 players.

Yesterday I played some spin and go on poker stars and these turbo 3 player games are a drama. In my opinion, a very large variance and a lottery, and a very high rake, so to be on the plus side, I don't know, you have to be very lucky in draws and draw high multipliers, and win them because I don't see any other option...

I like the tournaments the most because it's hard to make a profit at Spin & Go

I prefer to play at a full ring table of 9 players, however do play at 6 player tables. The important thing to remember when changing from 9 to 6 (or any other number of players at the table) is to adapt your strategy of hands to play dependant on your position and your ranges will become wider with fewer players. Whatever you play, good luck.

sure, because the strategies are different at tables with 9 and 6 players

Yep. Is 9 sits still playing. I didnt play for years. But my begginings years ago it was at 9x tables. What i like to play? From 6 down to the heads up if it's get to that situation. regular heads up table i dont open. Dont know if they even exist for micros and it's probably rake to high to end up in plus, but this are only my suggeston. I like action PLO 6. max and go go.

I don't play PLO at all, and in the past I've played everything from sit and go to multi-table tournaments, 6 max, heads up, spin go, cash etc etc... I was tilted the most when I was playing heads up it was very bad for my psyche and I used to catch very big swings... Now I'm trying to make a spin go bankroll, and in the future maybe I'll start playing tournaments... I'd love to play non turbo sng games, but these games almost don't exist anymore because there is very little traffic on them...

It depends on my mood. There are days when I feel aggressive and prefer shorter tables for more action. Sometimes I just like to sit back and wait for those AA on full ring.

I want blinds at every 10 minutes, because in that way i can do more good things.
