I think many are waiting for this to happen, and many other players who also left us, behind a good player there is a great story to tell, and I think this particular one is one of the best.

his life was one that many of us would like to have. He achieved a lot in those 89 years and not only in poker. It was a special character, I can say, but for the better. I hope we will see a nice documentary or a movie about his life.

Terrible news of the death of Doyle Burnson. He was a poker icon for many generations of players. He lived to a good age - he is almost 90 years old, although this is still very sad news. I liked him and I liked watching him play. Despite his age, I remember how a few years ago he still played in live tournaments while in a wheelchair.

dule-vu I just noticed this thread, and I didn't know earlier that Doyl Brunson had died. I only found out yesterday when I found this topic here on the bankrollmob forum. Either way, it's sad news because he was a positive person and an outstanding poker player. The advantage is that he lived to a good age and left behind his history, thanks to which people will remember him for a long time.
