Big pocket pairs  0
What should you do when you hold big pocket pair, aces , kings or queens ? Raise, just call , or go all in? My opinion is that It depends on your position and how much big blinds you have left and also about other players. but raising is always the best option, what do you think?

Raise 3-4BB or reraise 3-4 x the raise, all depends on game ofcourse.

its all about the situation
in early position i raise 3 or 4 times the bb
in late position i raise 2,5 3 times big blind if nobody before raised..
if somebody bet and i think its enough to go all in in push

Usually it is best just to raise it up. If you have a very aggressive player acting after you, you may try to trap him and just limp in, hoping that he raises and you can come over the top.

Usually I prefer raise up 3 times and hope to find a reraise preflop just to go all in.

If you face a very aggressive player you could risk to follow your opponents bets til river and then go all in

It really depends on your stack, your opponents and your table image. If i'm on an agressive table i tend to limp or min raise with K's or A's hope they catch a pair off the flop and they'll try bully you, if the A does flop you risk losing, (And preflop you'll get called by an ace more times than not anyway) but more times than not you'll still be winning and your hand will be disguised. Cool

always raise, but sometimes you can mix it up with a call if you can get a good read on the player your playing against to get his chips or limp under the gun also Smile i prefer to raise, because if i loose i just have myself to blame wich isnt fun at all Sleepy

As you say it all depends on the situation

Stack size
opponents stack size
Blind level
Position!

etc. etc. etc.

But i almost allways raise unless its the 10' or Jacks Cant win with them..

Jacks im closing my eyes and folding preflop first to act Big Smile

Indifferent of my position i raise. My raise is somwhere of 4-5 big blinds. If someone raise in front of me or after my i have no doubt that i eill go all in. Anyway it's not surely that you will win but i think that this is the right decision. Good luck!

You should always have max amount at the table. It gives you a chanse to win more. Many good players reload every blind circle to max amount. Its correct to raise or 3bet with big poketpairs. Always be agressive.
