That's right friend, the wsop are for professional players, those who are always playing these types of high level tournaments, but people who like to play poker and have money to do so also sign up, in these tournaments you have to have a little good luck getting to the final.

Last year in taxes the state collected more than 11 million at the final table, it is crazy money, taxes range from 30% to 45% for each country, it is a lot of money, but that is established, United Kingdom and Some other countries don't charge anything.

I have been investigating the possibility that if a Peruvian goes to the wsop to play and is lucky enough to win or reach the final table and win large amounts of money, they have to pay 30% in taxes, maybe that will never change because it suits the state, but that is very abusive, and when they lose, does the state give you something??

New news is already coming out about the wsop, great players are already playing the events in this country, Latin players stood out in Event #17 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack of the WSOP 2024 and achieved 17 cashes. The tournament had 4,732 entries of US$800 and a prize pool of US$3,331,328 with 710 awarded positions.
