At most rooms you need to buy in with at least 20BB. And this is usually indendend from the stakes. Max buy in is 100BB most of the time, but there may be "deep" tables, where you can buy in for more.

Doesn't matter what level you play make sure you allways got 100BB stack and atleast 20 stacks behind that, playing out of roll is the worst you can do.
