When it comes to poker, I belong to this group of amateurs. For me, it's more about luck than strategy itself. Although I admit that I would like to learn how to play poker well and have some proven or effective ways to play it. I won't give any advice myself, but I'll be happy to read and find out what others do to win at poker.

I primarily play on Sweepstakes poker sites, and I prefer tournament-style games over sit and go. Tournaments offer more excitement and a chance to compete against a larger field of players.

Tournaments are great for learning, and Sit & Go games are like m practice rounds for tournaments. They help you learn strategies in a smaller, faster way.

Thank you for the tip. To be honest, I used to watch poker regularly, but then I didn't play it myself. I just watched others play for fun. Then I tried it myself, but probably too rarely and the lack of successes - even small ones - discouraged me. I think I will try to watch more such games and tournaments again and maybe something will come of it. It's always a beginning.

Always play with in a limit you are comfortable with. Always aim to give your best at games but don't ever go into a game assuming you are going to win that way you are not too disappointed if you take a beat and loose all you tournament chips or cash.

Sometimes you need to go back to the beginning, hit the reset button and start over,the best tip for playing poker that I have heard is to take a break,don't let tilt ruin your experience.

Good opinions, I also try to roughly follow similar rules, but quite often when analyzing my game I find that I repeat mistakes that I want to avoid, mainly not respecting the limit and my bankroll is needlessly in minus values.
