So they would give him $1M in 20 years , so I guess it's $50K per year or about 4K per month ?? Not bad at all . He would be paid more than 4K dollars per month and do nothing lol . A dream job . Seriously . He decided to get the discounted , as he says , amount of $500K now instead of waiting 20 years to get $1M . I don't like it souch . Personally I would rather wait 30 years to get the whole $1M ))
He says he is not gonna live 20 years and make it until the 70s .because of hid diet . Lol . If he said because of sth else addiction maybe i would have believed him
Even if he does , his children will get the rest of his money . So why worry ? He wants to spend them all by himself ?? . $50K per year pay his Main event on Wsop and many other poker events . Anyway , his win , his decision , just saying ...

I don't think it is the state that was going to take a lot of his winnings in case he wanted to receive the whole prize . If I read correctly it was the casino that didn't want to pay 1M $$$ , but it wanted to pay in 20 years time . So he took the half prize directly without delays . But yeah , states do take a lot of the prize in such cases , it is true . I think in US it's 40% , but I am not 100% sure . In Greece it is 20-30% of the prize that the government demands to take from the player .

yes, the governments have big claims, they are robbers and that is because the taxes are too high. They steal, for these reasons this happens, because normally i would charge 10% for gambling and a maximum of 15% for employees in all fields.

Taxes in the United States are high, but this poker player still has a big prize left, he will remember this prize as if it were a tournament won playing poker, sometimes slot machines also give money.

Imagine sitting and playing on the same machine for 12 hours? That's either dedication or a massive problem. $12,500 spent on it too? Absolutely mental!
