Sven-Goran Eriksson, the Swedish football manager who coached England from 2001 to 2006, has died Monday, August 26 after succumbing to pancreatic cancer. He was 76 years old.
Bo Gustavsson, Eriksson's agent, said: "He passed away peacefully this morning with his family around him at his home."

Sven-Goran Eriksson was a well-known coach many years ago and coached some well-known teams. He was appreciated and knew how to get the job done and for this reason he remained in the minds of the fans where he had results. RIP.

Every uefa games this week started with minute of silence for eriksson! We saw it on game in belgrade, red star bodo glimt! His picture was on stadium, we made respect to him, nobody talked, but after that we passed in champions league! He loved sinisa mihajlovic as player in lazio!
