so another year in behind us and another poker player will be in hall of fame! this is big event for all poker lovers and its good that everybody can decide who will be new member of poker hall of fame! first they will need to choose 10 names and after that they will vote for one player! At least 40 years old Played high-stakes and held their own Respected by peers and top competition Consistently great over time Built a lasting legacy Or, if a non-player, left a major impact on the game

G'day mates... You know who would be one heck of a contraversial nominee. Bugsy Siegel. Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel (February 28, 1906 – June 20, 1947) was an American mobster who was a driving force behind the development of the Las Vegas Strip. This man was the primary reason poker in Las Vegas even exist today. It was his vision which brought about Vegas. I don't think there is even a picture of him let alone a single statue devoted to the man who gave the world Las Vegas. Surely that would make him eligable for the poker hall of fame.

I agree with you. However it is wrong for the to try and rewrite or ignore the past. I know the man was ganster but he did effect gambling in Las Vegasin alot of positive ways. He was not all bad. He lived in a very different and violent time. It could be argued that had alot to do with the way he was and lived. He should at least be remembered. Ronin
