- Ok, many of us mobsters play abc poker and make some profit. - Many of us mobsters have a gambling attitude and go bust. - Some of us mobsters have balls and know when to gamble and when to fold and make nice money.
I am the first Just play abc poker and make some money. Now trying to get me to the next level but very very difficult.

I agree. If you want to win a tourney or a sit$go you need to take some risk. Or force my opponents to do risky movements. You can't play always safe poker, because everyone will know your style.

As i play shorthanded most of the time, simple abc poker is not the way to go. The "i always have a pair.... of balls" style seems to be used by a lot of french players. But there is a thin line between "having balls" and "acting foolishly".

I mean in my early days when i didnt hit the board and oponent bet it was an instant fold for me. But not anymore, many players dont realise that in many cases with AK not hitting the board you still got the best hand. So balls for the cbet and the reraise to stop ur oponent for betting ect....

Sometimes first and sometimes third. Sometimes its not my day and sometimes it is. It depends on how am i feeling or how cards are treating me. If it is not my day I try to stick to abc poker, if people are catching too many 2 outers and stuff.

I tend to play the ABC poker, adding probably a D this is the suited connectors like.. 9,10, 9K, 8,J or stuff like that, but I always play them at the button and when noone limped or raised...

ya ABC will get u there in the longrunn, but when im in a gamblin mood, i play alot of hand like 57suited 79suited in raized pots its a good way 2 blow of some steam,and get a loose table image, but dont go callin big raizes with them just raize from late position with them.

Imo ones idea of what ABC poker is evolves with time. I still think I play ABC poker but it's far from the ABC poker I played 1 year ago. There is definately a development in both my way of seeing ABC poker and playing ABC-poker.
Edit: I got balls....they are not huge though but that is my hunger for being the winner

I tried ABC poker. With the SSS strategy, if you know that? But I went tilt yesterday night and lost everything. Now I want to start again, maybe by getting staked. Dunno yet.
Just play abc
