As of February 2nd we will change the payout for signups from certain countries. All countries that currently pay out 1000 MobPoints for level #1 players will be reduced with up to 50%, including approvelevel 2, 3 and 4.We have been analysing data for quite some time now and due to various factors such as changes in global economy with less depositors as a result, increasing fraud accounts/request[...] Read more » BRM Affiliates: Mob Points update
Since you guys are gonna be reducing the payouts for signups by 50%, maybe you should reduce the minimum amount of points for cashing out too, to make it fair

maybe fat tony should start a thread so we can debate the changes before they come in, crackfinders right in asking about the minimum points cashout (that was on my mind too) if a reduction in points is unavoidable due to bad signups, what about giving affilliates a piece of the good signups? just say i sign up donald trumps son and he turns into a poker fiend and generates many $$$$s, maybe we should be able to track our signups and get a percentage of their rake, or maybe affilliate only freerolls open to affilliates with at least one signup in the current week? stuff like that.

bad news put so much effort in my website. i understand the reason tho.
the minimum points cashout is really something to think/debate about since the affiliate points has been reduced.
donald trumps son? this sounds rather impossible. i wouldnt like to have others to know my data/statistic or anything. and as far as i know BRM doesnt give out more information on sign ups.

As I understand it BRM get paid pr required customer and not a percentage of the customers rake. If not, I must be their favourite member

Does this mean Level 1 will be reduced to 750 points or 500 points? That totally sucks.
I mentioned something a while ago, BRM pays the affiliate before BRM gets paid which instead, I think should be; pokerroom pays BRM than BRM pays affiliate a percentage. intentcity4 mentioned it above. That way, for example, you could pay affiliate $100 for a good signup and $0 if the signup did not generate any money.
M3turbo, I think most pokerrooms pay affiliates a percentage of rake. I think Pokerstars pays $75 per player who rakes certain amount. Other sites between usually share 25-50% of the rake.

You can do that by affliating the rakeback section, so if you get a good cousomer you get more , but its a lot easyer giving away free money than it is to get poker players who already play, i have a plan but think i will get banned from a few pokersites :} The lower limit cash out sounds good.

We won't reduce anything already earned, of course Points will be changed during Feb 2nd.
We have something else we are working on, for our affiliates, that is an addition to the current Affiliate program, but I can't disclose too much information yet and an ETA is not available either. But there will be more...

i can understand usa points being halved, but then again i think uk points should be doubled, i hope you keep us well informed fat tony, tough times ahead for all i guess. the new freerolls are a major plus though, maybe just maybe you should look at the tracking of these freerolls for worthy affilliates and allow affilliates who havent signed up through you to take part, i could live with that, especialy in the early stages of these freerolls as i hear numbers are low.

That's Bad News. Although I can understand that this change is neccessary to keep BRM running stable. At least You can only pay out what You make from people depositing and playing on the pokerrsites.
Hopefully You will raise the points again when the stats turn out to be better again
And this gives me a nice goal to achieve for Febuary: Double my Sign Ups !

im sure you would like if we all thought like that tony, unfortuanatly we dont, i dont anyway, i dont like to be the one saying this but you have been getting signups ups at a very very low rate in the past (from my time here anyway) max out pay $10 per head (and affiliates know how rare that is to get max points for a sign up) i would say from my experience here it would average $2 per approved signup, (what happens to the unapproved signups??) and the semi rare 100 points for an approved pokerbonus, am i the only one here who has shopped around and realised that this deal sucks ars???? im only i tiny part of the BRM affiliates program and i wont be missed (i do love the forum though) but really people, look around, you can do much much better. if no one jumps up and down now, they wont hesitate to do it again in the future, trust me, all affiliates here are getting ripped off, and thats before these changes come in, just my thoughts
The good thing about the BRM Affiliate Program is that You get paid for every verified Sign-Up. No matter if they produce rake or gather frequent player points. Other sits might pay more for some Sign Ups but there will also be many referrals for whom You do not get paid, because they loose their bonus prior to reaching the rake /FPP Limits.
In my experience the BRM approach has proven to be a little more lucrative. But it depends on how many high quality signups You generate.
