i was just thinking of making a poker web site and i was wonder if you's where to come up with a website name what would you call it and what would be on it
I would make a site called BankrollMafia.com, and I would offer real money no-deposit bonuses. I would include lots of fresh, new content on the poker world and how to improve your game, as well as forums for users to interact in a community-type setting
I have my own forum and it took me ages and ages to come up with a concept and a name. Originally I wanted POKERFUN but that had already been taken. Then I sat there and like a wave of inspiration.
POKERJOKERZ
So I named my site POKERJOKERZ.COM and from there its grown and grown and I now have over 1400 members on my books.

Always nice with new honest pokerrooms ... is it only normally rigged in favour for the fish or is it brutally rigged so it really hurts? (Did someone just shout MANSION FFS CMON PLZ ONE TIME NOT AGAIN in the background?)
Oh, and btw do you have any freerolls on your site ?

fcumred, you have 1400 members in your forum? I want to add a forum to my site but I don't want one of those free forums with their domain name on the end of the website.

Thats what I use, and being honest its fantastic. Far better than anything you could get from Vbulletin
If you get a chance pop into POKERJOKERZ.COM and check it out..

fcumred, how did you get so many visitors to your site. Do you advertise or word of mouth? I know I can get a free forum script but then I have to pay for hosting. I have a blog website right now and I'm using blogger hosting for free but maybe I should just pay for hosting and get Wordpress (which is much better) and get a forum with it. Where do you host your website?
SpeedMix, I doubt that would work or everyone would do that?

Wow
Go ahead, create it. Great idea and trust me I'll probably stick there if you'll have Vulcan Poker free bonuses there cause here it's...

Initially I started off telling friends, then after that I did a $100 welcome freeroll on Full Tilt. THat brought in an instant 300 members..
SInce then its been freerolls, advertising, word of mouth and offering good promotions, like links to BRM..
The main thing is make your site different to everyone elses, do things that others dont...
We do a weekly lottery, reguilar competitions, and most of all, we make the site FUN...
You would be amazed at how quickly it grows when you put a little thought into it

dunotra, I noticed that too. Do you pay your moderators fcumred? And did you pay out $100 for the freeroll or did FT put it together because I know some pokerrooms set up freerolls when you refer a lot. The contests and lotteries are pretty cool, I like the 2-7 challenge...I need to add some cool stuff to my site like a forum. I bought s domain from godaddy, I'll try the free hosting with them...You know what's funny? I get #1 rank if you search google for "david poker"

I have a website with godaddy. It's not a poker related website but I run it for my parents business. I have a couple of domains of my own since they only cost a couple of quid a year but I can't think of any use for them. I don't want to set up a referral site as I know I'd struggle to compete with all those around and I don't know enough people to make money referring all my friends. To tell you the truth I'm a little too lazy to do any hard work.
fcumred I think it's against the rules to advertise your site here. I took a quick look and I think you have a link to a site in direct competition to BRM.

awood88, are your domains poker related? Are they just parked right now? I know two good placed to advertise are twitter and youtube.
I bought my domain for $2 from yahoo and transfer it over to godaddy and pay $7.5 a year now. I use free hosting from blogger but I've ran in to a lot of problems with blogger.
