This is a tricky question. I don't know if fhere is a pokerometer where one can see every players total games, wins, losses and statistical results. That would be the best way to answer this question.

self preclaimed best NLHE players are never as good as those who know the value of making a profit in any case, at any stage of their carriers and in any type of HE.. I would say PA or old Barry
Phil Helmuth is one of the best TOURNAMENT PLAYERS of the world, but in cashgames he doesn´t do that well. But of course, Daniel Negreanu, his sick reads and great personality make him probably the most respected player of the world.

It's always hard to answer something like this. Taking in consideration we can only try to define the best according to the data we have access to, we have to keep puting him among the best, if not on the top, but there are others who deserve to be there. I like to see him playing and i consider him one of the best, but there are other pros who deserve to be recognized also as very good players!

In my opinion i dont think Phil Hellmuth as ever been the best nlhe in the world only in his own head is he the best. The amount of times that i have seen him outplayed in television events goes to prove this. Phil Ivey is the best for me but this is only my opinion

i believe the best NLHe player is Stu Ungar~! never seen another player play like him. too bad he is no longer here... his style and talent is so great. but then again thats my idea. lol!
