BB, SB and then BB again!???  0
Hello,

I just want to ask if the following is normal: I was playing a MTT on Poker770 (10 players at my table) and I won a pot when I was SB (so of course I had been BB just the hand before). And just after that Poker770 moved me to another 10 players table where I was immediatly BB again ! So I lost 8 turns without paying blind. Is it normal??
There were a lot of players still in the tournament (about 400)
Thanks in advance for your opinion.

hmm if you joined the table just before the hand started and were UTG then yeah, it happens although not too often.

just hard luck i spose.

strange, never happend to me, tend to be sat out untill my go but normally put in to the right pos and play str8 away.
I guess it can happen but no need for it to happen, the should have sat you out.

Well i found it very strange when it happened to me. Fortunatly, the blinds were not so high but infortunatly Poker770 forgot to give me nuts to play in this position... Big Smile

Yep could be worse, might have been 5k 10k, but again i see no reason why they would do that to you, iv had it when iv been moved from table to table without playing thats frustrating

This is not uncommon. There will be times where the breackup of a table will save you from paying the blinds. So in the end it will level out.

this happens in all poker rooms of a particular network...

In some other networks you'll wait for the button.. which i personally think is better.
Sometimes this causes another funny situation, where you don't get to play a single hand for ages, if you get moved from table to another alot..

Well I guess it depends on when in the tournament it is. In early parts it is way better to take the big blind and get to see two more hands imo. But late in the game being tossed around not "getting" to play can be a good thing if you are short stacked. I hate it when I get thrown around a lot, since I can't ever get a read on my opponents, plus it always seem to happen short after a manic has lucked into half my stack.

It happened too me 1 week ago, SB and BB hit me hard then moved too another table and within 1 hand SB and hit me even harder.
I was really short, made it ITM but it sucks yeah.
Nothing you can do about just bad luck....

It happens and yes it does suck if you are shortstacked at that moment. Just a bad luck.

This happens but what i've noticed it happens only on the iPoker Network. On other rooms usually you will be out of play untill the bb is behind you. Mainly you won't get the cards dealt for the next 2 hands. This is very annoying when you are shortstacked...

Thumbs Down Thumbs Down Thumbs Down Thumbs Down
