Poker has its origin from USA, so it's obvious that they're #1 UK has a lot of players, there's no site without UK players on it..
Germany is where I come from and the community grows day after day.. We got much Poker on TV now, commercial breaks for FT and PS and even some TV talk shows even where they are playing poker right now.. (e.g. TV Total)
Poker is global and connects ppl from all over the world but if you want to make the big money you have to go to Las Vegas ofc or join the WSOPE ;D

Yeah , i would say USA is definitly the strongest country.They got the best players. But I'm also very suprised that Finland and Denmark are so good poker players. :-O

i am from belgium and my country is not yet on that list but wait some years and you will all find out that we are making progress ... anyway , i think i go for a scandinavian country ... sweden , denmark , finland . that is my top 3 with sweden on top

The Netherlands is not on this list, but I think Poker is getting more and more famous in The Netherlands. There was a big increase of players the last few years.

Denmark has a lot of great pokerplayers but it's def. NOT the pokerland! The Danish tax and goverment tries to rob danish pokerplayers our right to play poker! In the 117 days untill nov 9 Peter Eastgate moved to England. If he hadden't the Danish Tax would have won the WSOP! They would have take about $6 million in tax!
Reducing Peter Eastgates winnings to LESS than winning 4nd place is SICK! Danish tax on casino winnings outside of EU is 50% up to $400K and 75% after that! So Denmark may breed the best players but they seldom stay there!

I'm from Finland and voted Finland... But honestly i'm thinking the best players (in average) really come from scandinavia: Finland, Sweden and Norway. Some U.S players are good too (but also lot of bad ones).
