hi i am a chess player i want to know if someone play chess too just to see if i am the only poker player who play chess too, chess and poker look really not same.In this way i want to know if i am an exception ( please tell me the mistake i do because i'm french and want to become better in english)

I thaught about learning to play chess properly, but never done so. I do however admire good chess players, I think it is a bit similar to poker both being battles of the mind.

I ain't played chess since I was a kid but I still know how to play. it's not as complicated as people think it is. playing it is easy. playing well is a different matter. My grandfather taught me and he never went easy on me lol. not really anything like poker. different skills needed but equally skillful in my opinion. my housemate would not agree. he says poker is as skillful as monopoly.

I"m glad to hear that there are chess players here in this forum. As for you Chessmat, maybe one of these days we will play some games in chess. For a Frenchmen, you"re english is already good, just keep on practising in speaking the language and you"ll get better each day. See you at the poker tables.

Chess, I love it! I havent played much for a few years, but when I was younger I played alot, and I was good at it. But now I think I am far behind, since I have not practiced in a looong time

i used to play alot chess, its a nice game.
and there´s indeed some sites that offer tourny prizes. just google, i think MSN does for instance. will be pretty hard to win though since alot players use chessprograms.

I used to play against my bro, but he keept doing wired moves that I didnt know, dont know if he made them up or not. So cuss i always lost I hate the game, im a sore loser...

I use to play chess all the time on kasparov.com until the site went down. Than I started playing yahoo pool, so fun Than game called gunbound, lots of angles and math, very fun And now I play poker
One thing about chess, it's 100% skill so I guess you have no bad beats

OK id like to know if iv been cheated all these years :} My bro does a move when king is in check he swaps it with the castle(can you tell i dont play) but 1 space out, the gap can be any providing nothing is in the way. He does a few outhers that he swares are ligit.
( please tell me the mistake i do because i'm french and want to become better in english)
