SNG trainers  0
Hi i am intrested in SNG trainers, pokerplayers vids who can improve my game.
I only checked SitNGogrinders a little bit but no other sites yet.
This site looks good with a couple of very good players with very good results.

I play online less then a year and started from $100 grinding my way up playing $10 and $20 ''Double Or Nothing'' SNG, and it works, with just abc-poker my BR is growing and growing.
I decided i dont want to change from SNG too CASH, i want to stick with the SNG and work up in stakes.

But now i get a little bored with these kind of SNG cos its basicly waiting for other players mistakes then playing for 1st place, so in my opinion not real poker.
I mean,i dont want to play my whole life ''doubles'' and also want to go up in stakes but i need training.

What i want?

I want to change my game from double too regular (speed/normal dont know yet).
With help of a trainer study sng vids.
Maybe start at $5 stakes and hopefully work my way up.
I want to pay as a member like $50 a month? (i dont really know how much it is)

Are there any mobsters who experienced this? (maybe Turbo/Shokaku?).
I mean payed membership to study poker vids?
Which site do you think is the best?
Do you have more tips?

Please giv ur comments please.....

You can try PokerSavvy Plus. It has one week trial, so You would check if its right thing for ya.

Its 75$ for 3 months, but You can go to some poker room, make a deposit, earn some points and then you get 1 year membership "free".

Just check their website.

cheers,

The usual training sites focus on cash games. So they are of little help. But why do you want to switch games if you are steadily winning playing the DoN SnGs Confused

I understand what ur saying, i do have steady winning roll with these ''Doubles'', but they are not improving my game.
At bubble time sometimes you have to fold ur pockets tens, jacks, queens even kings to get ITM, thats not real poker, i want to play for 1st place.
I simply dont see myself playing ''Doubles'' year after year.
I want to play ''the real stuff'', not these tight games.
Maybe this whole year i play $10/$20 doubles to boost my roll and $5 regular to train.

As shokaku said most training sites have focus on cash especially 6max and HU which has fit me perfect cause thats what I play. Im sure with some time on google or a larger forum you can find sites who has lots of S&G videos.

I just checked on Deucescracked they have 19 videos in the "S&G/MTT" category mixed. So it's not much but you can join deucescracked free for 1 week you have to register credit card and then just cancel before 1 week has passed. Watch an hour(aprox length of video) every night and you have seen all they have on that site.
Im also member of pokeruni but thats danish so not for you. I haven't been on cardrunners so I don't know how much they have on S&G Confused

Aww crap! Doooh

I just remember someone talking about pokersavvy should be a good site for S&G videos and I just checked it has 1 week free trial too havent tried though. Be smart don't start the free trials at same time Smile

You say you want to improve your poker skills and play "real poker".

IMO playing cash is where it's at cos you are always playing deep ( usually 100BB or more ) This means you can profitably play a very wide range of cards if you have the skills.

You can make moves, trap and bluff - proper poker in it's truest sense and you can only play this way when the stack - blind ratio is large. As such p laying cash will improve your poker faster than anything else.

It can be a little scary at first but you soon get used to it and with proper training the transition can be made easier than you may think.

Cardrunners is the best site by far for cash especially 6-max and Heads Up.

If you wish to stick with the S'n'Gs then sitngopro may be worth a look. It's a new site and needs a little time to grow but it is free to join.

I also like Real Poker Training which is great for MTT's but also has some great S'n'G instruction and many of the MTT skills are easily transferable to a S'n'G.

Good luck on you mission, Dell

but if you wanna improve your game, you should download ICM trainer for free, then run 5000 hands, and then I promise you, that you are a better stngo player. - you obv. need to look at every hand you made the wrong decision, to improve your game.

Turbo and Shokaku ur right most training site are for cash i checked it.
First i gonna check the pokersavvy its free trial for a week right?
The deucescracked i am not sure, i am not a fan of registering a credit card anymore due too some things in the past.

I did some research about the sitngogrinders site, all people are positiv, so after pokersavvy i think i gonna sign up there Smile

@BluffOnly: Lol you didnt understand me, but yes i didnt make it clear true Tongue

@doomdy

I think you have to reg. your credit card on most sites to get the 1 week free trial. I understand you are sceptical so was I. But I can confirm deucescracked was free and easy to unsubscribe you don't even have to compose email you just press "unsubscribe" on their site before the date that is set to withdraw money from your account. I haven't tried other trial periods.

doomdy, if you want to play for first, you might want to watch poker after dark. That's 6 handed, winner takes all. And they show most of the hands too. I was watching that for a few months and I started gambling a lot more but that's what you have to do in winner takes all.

If I was going to get a membership somewhere, I'd go with a free poker gift like 6 months free and all you have to do is work off a deposit bonus.

I like doubles, I'm pretty sure one day I can 20 table them since its never less than 6 handed and tight strategy usually wins.
