Why no private message?
Every forum (I know) has a private message function (PM). Users can send each other messages like emails (but based on the forum). It would be nice, e.g. if you like someone and want to contact him/her or if you want to exchange experiences in your mother tongue.
Edit: Is there any specific factor why we don't have PMs ?

We are considering it, however the problem is that the minute we release a PM-function, all our users will be bombarded with PMs from all kinds of people trying to "hijack" customers for various sites, as we have no way of controlling the "flow of information" on our site anymore.
So for now, until we can provide a "spam-free" PM-function, its off-limits

I use to mod a poker sponsorship site and yes we had pm's and yes there where pleny trying to spam. One thing we did have ,( that was great ), was live chat. If someone was rude, spamming or out of line they where booted.

Chat is a good idea!
@ mob staff - I understand your point of view. I didn't think about spam and hijacking.

We will try and look into the chat idea - perhaps it could be "modded" so users can chat to each other. We will get back on this issue at some point in the near future

Cool thanks MobMan may I also suggest if you do then give someone"power" to either alert you Mob peeps or boot troublemaking spammers etc. just make sure that it is someone who will not abuse it

how about a friends feature ?, where you can only talk to people who have agreed to your (lets be friends request) that way you would only get messages from people you want to get messages from.

No I wil not as you all know my name is honest Sid and I am a Engilish man from Nigeria I Just need you to send me $624 so I can get home so I can see my famaly again. I woud like to see them again before I leave this world.... but if you can not let me empty you bank balance please give me you email so I can still rip you off one way or the outher.

I think the point of people requesting a pm on this site is to not jam up the forum with posts from one to other ( Just my thought). Some on here seem to get along great and may not want to post their email or IM address to stay in contact. I think if a chat was on here then they could stay in contact have no spamming,( as is monitored) and forum would not get full of people "chatting" or posting short posts to each other. Just my opinion.

yeah the BRM have there reasons, 1 being they dont want people telling other people about simalar sites and non BRM bonuses im guessing, they"re protecting themselves as well, which is fair enough.
