Hi folks,
as some of you might know i prefer the non-holdem games like HORSE and Omaha.
I also like the freerolls, so it would be a blast for me to play non-holdem freerolls. The Bankrollmob has a freeroll for us almost everyday; but almost all of them seem to be Holdem.
well...
that makes sense, since most of the mob members are holdem players apparently. on the other hand: i noticed a lot of people had fun trying something new, like rummy, and also there is always some people popping into threads about stud or omaha that are curious about the game and maybe would like to give it a (free) try.
my question is simple: would you like to see the bankrollmob offer non-holdem frerolls as well? or is just a minority interested in this?

Problem is, most other types of poker are played as fixed limit games. And i will NOT play a freeroll with a fixed limit structure. So it is more or less down to PLO.

yeah. limit MTTs can take a horrible amount of time. still there is PLO, PLO8, NL-Omaha, HA, deuce-to-seven...

I like most the Texas Hold Em No Limits, sometimes I play Limits also, but I don't like em as much, hmmm other than that, I doubt I would play much, maybe Omaha, but that's all from the other.

Naah, Im so new at poker, i think, that its best to learn holem first. But maybe in the future, if I have not already lost my house, wife and most of the pets at this game.
I would like to see some PL omaha and some 5 card draw freerolls. Off course the winnings have to be reasenable because I wont be playing a couple of hours in a MTT for a meager 15$ . (That's the reason why I stopped playing them).

Yes, I would like to play some other types of poker . Although I love Hold em, it will be a good variance to play Stud, Omaha or Razz. It will definitely be a hit and also give our members the opportunity to learn the other types of Poker.

i think it could be a good idea to start playing other variations of poker; it would be funny and could be an opportunity to become a more complete player. just want to make a proposal: why don't organize a BRM championship based on different poker variants tourneys?
Why not ? I usually prefer to play hold'em and sometimes omaha ( just not to become addicted ) I like Magatt idea too: a championship among all us members

I like HORSE and Razz and Omaha. I think it would be great to mix it up a bit. I am reg in the Rummy though but I have a prayer in hell as no matter what I do i have def no talent at this game but it is fun and a great diversion from poker.

Obviously people are interested in freerolls of any kind. If there is free money involved then there will be people there!!! Regardless of the game. But ye, I not that I play freerolls but if I did I'd like sum vareity

well... looking at this thread 2 things become obvious IMO:
1st: there is a far bigger general interest in Non-Holdem Games then i expected
2nd: when it is not Holdem, everybody wants something else. some want HORSE, some Drawpoker (id be in! ), some would like PLO...
so Admin , what do you think? Is there a Chance of having BRM-Non-Holdem Freerolls one day? maybe like one-in-20 or one-in-30? im sure you noticed also that nice league idea.

We can't have a non-holdem freeroll because 41 players voted yes
1) Some of the votes are probably just because "yes" were first at the list 2) Some of them wants HORSE, some draw, etc etc, so it's probably not even 41 players for teh same kind of non-holdem tournaments. 3) Then remove the players that doesn't have an account with BRM on the site where it will be held, then even less players are eligible.
We can probably try *one* non-holdem freeroll at partypoker when our WSOP Tournaments are completed, but I doubt that it will be much of a success

you are making good points there admin not much to argue about. probably there is some mobsters not using this forum, who would be interested in non-holdem games, but one can have reasonable doubts it is a lot. (i looked stronger at the percentages, but as poker player i heard of sample sizes that are irrelevant before... )
thanksalot for the feedback. asking is free and merrily hoping is allowed too i think
just one thing: if you should decide to give one non-holdem freeroll a shot. cant it be on full tilt or virgin please. i wouldnt be eligle for mobevents on party poker
(thats one user now, wanting this. i know, i know but its hard to make me stop hoping )

but for freerolls i prefer play texas holdem no limit turbo. this is the best formula for freerolls
