hello,
last week the tilt has visited me and it was a bad one. as i got the tournament tickets for pkr here i was building a little br there. and most of you know the pkr-stories about bad beats or unbelievable played hands ( on the low limits) stealing the money. after some such losing hands it trapped me and i was going down( and this hard..) on a schoolbook-tilt after breaking for one week i´m on hard work to claim the lost bucks in a good way ( doubled the money in 3 days until yesterday, its only 50% of my loss ), but its not easy to get the money on the 0,02/0,04 tables there ( mentioned above) is there any possibility to recognize going on tilt or to say.. stop no aggressive play no hope-play.. switch off and cool down.. i wasnt able for this? i dont want to tread this way again... its harder to rework the same money as losing it
It would be wonderful but only you can save yourself from tilt It happened ( and it happens ) to all. I think that when you will be able to recognize it and to stop yourself, probably you will be a very strong player

I have found, very recently, that if I play a hand i normally would not have played (and lost), I ask myself. "Why did I do that?" The answer is almost always: "Youre tired, dude." Or even worse, "Your on a tilt." So far, I have managed to stop there. But it did cost med some dollars to learn.

Min raise every hand preflop and on every street and let the cards decide your fate. Sure you won't win em all but the chances are you won't be the only one tilting at the end of the tourney.

Everyone has downswings. The past week has been bad for me, no matter which site I'm playing on I'm constantly getting rivered by bad hands/calls/raises. It's happening more than usual (you always expect these beats, a couple per day maybe, that's why you need bankroll management so you always have back up funds) so after a couple of bad beat losses I step away from the pc, turn off any running poker software and go have lunch/dinner - play games with the children, talk to the missus or try get her into bed - go for a walk, go to the shop for the paper, read the paper or a book ... anything but play poker.
If you can stay away for at least a few hours , you'll find you're fresher, you're more alert, and your confidence is back

Buy a couple of those 5 $ keyboards and when the bad-beat and tilt hits you, BANG!! and after that you can try to puzzle i back to one piece again and get it working ... when you realize it is an mission impossible you have wasted about 5 min but the tilt is gone. After that just take out a fresh keyboard and continue playing ... (not so enviromental friendly tough).

And what do you do if you got busted by a non-french player?

i changed my strategy for pkr.. buy in a table like usual with max , try to keep playing abc and leave after a big pot.. to the next table and so on... ( heard about this on my first steps on poker at p***********y ) and it work..no tilt-low risk-average earnings but this is how to fight back ( and my race back is very successful on the few hands i played the last days ^^ )

Remember we have french users too that might not like your way of thinking Some of them reported your post as being "racist", so just keep that in mind when mentioning the french in the future
Personally I don't care what people are saying about DK (after all, we were the one who started with the Mohammed Drawings because we love our freedom of speech and doesn't take everything too serious ) - but other cultures/religions surely doesn't feel the same way.
My point is - everybody should just try and remember that not everybody might like the "jokes" being made - but the ones being victims of the "joke" should also remember that the "joker" most likely didn't mean anything bad with it.
