There's more javascript and images than the old one, so if it's slower, then your computer/browser probably needs an update But it now "loads" more like other sites do, from upper left corner to the lower right corner (left column, middle column, right column). Previously it loaded left column, right column and middle column.

No, iframes are out of the question. Terrible (useless) when it comes to search engines, the banners on the site will not reload either, and it's not possible to bookmark threads within an iframe. And I don't know any other forum that uses an iframe

It depends on the one I use. With my pc at office no difference, but with my personal at home I go slower. No matter I like BRM as before
