Hi,
I don't really know how much I should buy in when I sit at a table. I always buy-in 50 BB now, because of my small Bankroll. But what strategy is good ? 100 BB ? And when do you reload ?

Depends a bit on your quality of play. The deeper you and your opponents are, the bigger the mistakes that can be made. So if you think you are way better than your opponents, buy in deep.
If you are worried about your bankroll, drop down a level.

people might try to push you around when you buy in minimum. also you wont get a full payout when you hit a monster hand. i guess the best buyin for starters is somewhere in the middle

Okay, I know what you mean. I don't think i'm gonna do the SSS, it's boring. And I play poker to have fun, not to have easy money... I might start to buy in 100BB now that my bankroll grew up a bit. Thanks all

I always buy in the minimum. I get criticized for this and get called a fish. it's not that i'm not confident in my ability but the way I see it we all suffer from bad beats time to time. I don't want to lose a large portion my bankroll in one bad beat. If I lose it i buy in again and usually make the money back unless I'm too angry in which case I take a break or occasionally when I think the quality of play is particularly good at that table.
by buying in small I can easily double or triple my money then stand up and run. it works for me cos I have no fear of playing short stack in cash games and tourneys alike. I know how to change my play for short stack and chip leader situations.

You really should Buy-In the MAX. Buy-in to that table... that's how you can make most profit when you hit the nuts (and your opponent hits the 2nd best hand). It's also pssible to buy-in minimum... but it kinda sucks.

My bankroll is actually $40, I started with $20 on PKR. The lowest limit in NLH is $0.02/$0.04, so max buy-in $4. I'm only playing one table at a time, waiting to reach $100, then I might try 2 tables.

That depends on how many tables U play. BUt I advice U not to play more then 2 tables with such a small roll. Once Ur on 500$ U can have some variance and some swings.
