I'm just wondering which tools you're using when playing online poker?
I am using Poker Office and Calculatem Pro (I know... But I like it and it serves his purpose)

Do you believe these tools are really helping your online play?

PT3, Pokerstove and sometimes a calculator. PT3 helps me alot to quickly define opponents when multitabling and Pokerstove helps me comparing my hands strength vs opponents range.

and I don't use anything, I know that it is wrong, but for me more important is to see what is happening and how is it made... I pay a great attention to the time of the desision.

I'm using poker tracker 60 day demo right now. When it runs out I will try Holdem Manger demo and see which one I like best. But I hear from everyone that Holdem Manager is better.

M3turbo, what kind of calculator? Ordinary calculator?

I don't use anything. I don't see why you need to and also its kinda cheating. you can't use tools in live poker. If you need to use em you can't be a really good player.

Plus I don't see how a program can tell you what to do. Work out the chances of hitting outs yes but then any calculator can you tell that or even you wouldn't believe it but you can actually work it out in your head. If your a good player you change your style of play all the time to stop opponents getting a read on you so no program can predict your cards.

I think paying attention to time is ridiculous when playing online. Ok if they call quickly it indicates strength but they could as easily have clicked by accident. If they take ages have you considered they are away from the keyboard, that their internet signal is weak or that their busy at another table/site. I hate it the program temporarily freezes and you have to make a quick decision. Then no one gives you credit cos you took a long time to make the decision.

I do not use any poker tool. I think that it distracts me from my game! I tried once the elephat, I used them to see the statistics when I was playing short stack strategy. But I dont use this kind of tools in real time when im playing! But thats only my opiniion!
