First of all I want to say, that I am from germany and my english is a little bit of crazy, so be patient with me^^
I wanted to test poker players on a poker room. It was cake poker, where I got a no deposit bonus from another site. It was 50 bucks.
The experiment was: Is there a difference, when someone (male) is playin against a girl?
I registered as "sexyJenny" on cake poker and took the appearance of a nice girl. Here at Bankroll mob Im sexyJenny too, because I thought it would be neccessary to register here with the same nick.
Then I started playin cash game. And actually there were some guys talking to me, not about poker, u know^^
And I think they played another way with me. I think they thought, that Im just a poor little girl, that dont have an idea about poker.
Now my question on you: Do you play another way, when you see, that ur opponent could be a girl? Do you change your awarness of playing poker?
Finally I played a satellite to a bigger tournement, won the ticket and in this tournament I reached the final table, got 560$, played a little bit more cash game to reach the bonus requirements and finally withdrawed 720$. Probably I won the money, because I was registered as a girl?

lol Well I am a woman and to tell you the truth the names I use at poker rooms are not ones that you would think i am a female . Reason for that is i am there to play poker and not have a social club. I have seen many talking in chat to ones that are women,( or so they think due to name), and they get into convo's that have either nothing to do with what is going on or are just plain 'flirting" etc. I have no interest.

I have to confess if I was playing a live game I would look at a girl differently although I am not used to playing girls live. In my poker society there are only ever two girls max. Whenever I've played girls I've found them to be average or below players. That said I've seen girls play v well on TV with the exception of Vicky Coren who I maintain is a rubbish player. I would therefore never assume anything about a player male or female until I played them.
Online I tend not to notice the sex of the other players. Actually I have a habit of assuming them all to be men unless mentioned in the chat. Chat by the way I think is a crucial part of the game. If it is mentioned though that does not make me change my game. I see people flirting with and harassing female players but I honestly don't think it effects the game unless the female player gets angry and gets a vendetta against the guy who is harassing her.

Well I play live a fair bit and I don't like sitting in silence. I chat to the guys on my table, have a laugh and I'd quite like an attractive woman to be there. Doesn't change how I play poker.
Now I admit that I think in general I think men are better suited to poker but that doesn't mean I pre-judge any individual poker player. Only a fool would ever judge anyone's poker ability based on sex, nationality, hair colour or age.
I bet sexyjenny if you start a poll you'll see in online poker no one plays women differently. One thing though- make sure 'not sure' is your first option because loads of people just click the first option to get points.

If you ever get in troble and end up in prision don't tell your fellow inmates that you use the name sexy jenny on line or you might end up with a few more suprizes in the shower room

Naaa I never even have the avitars on and only look at the players name if a have made notes on them... But I have seen some either VERY poor collousion and obvious "friendly poker"

Do all Germans cross-dress? No diffrent for me, half the time I wouldent have a clue if im playing a girl or boy, did mss about on PKR, doned a thong for a few games and got a lot of atention and hit on a few times, kinda wired if you ask me but so is PKR lol.
Yes, I play more different. I play more tight, women are very dangerous opponents in online poker but offline they can be easily beaten due to the fact most of them can't hide their emoticons (I don't know if it's well written) & can be easily be read.
