Every once in a while someone ask me "How much do you spend on poker?" and the answer is always the same. Not much but thats so far from the truth that even politicians would be intressted in taking me under their wings, well really not that drastic but pretty much. I´ve spend to much on this game I learned to love through sickness and healt. But the question is - how honest are you guys out there?

I'm honest as Jesus ..... for the simply reason i started to play poker and stil playing with no deposit bonuses. so never loss money from my pockets. only deposits i made were the ones poker room need for withdrawal. so i will be honest til the day i will lose my own money....and that day i will come back to this poll to change my vote

I never lie on gambling if I did my girlfrend would know . that is why she has no problem with me staying up all night becouse she knows I will not go over the top at poker as is is fun
But when it get's to sport's trading .....well that is a different matter...It's my living. So I think it's time for the sack.

I lie to my parents all the time about how much I play poker. Not because I lose all my money but because they think I should concentrate on uni instead of gambling. I've got plenty of money in the accounts but I've never cashed out yet. And I get the impression if I became a pro poker player my mother would disown me lol.

I have never lied about it. I have only ever played with free money and I've never had to make a deposit as I haven't won anything to withdraw. I live in hope, however

I am sry to read about that lost but it might be a minor for yoy depending on what level you are playing at, with that said - I allso prefer honesty so well done to all of you who "take it as it is" and go forward despite backswings.
As Magatt wrote I played no deposit bonuses and money earned with extra activities ( as postin here ) only. But noone ever asked me how much I spent playing online

Nobody asks me lol But if they ask me i tell the truth, i never spent money in poker, all the money i depposited was earned in another poker place with freerolls or no deposit bonus. So for me poker is only profit! I will never spend my money in poker!

People ask me sometimes how much i have spent on poker. And my reply is honest: I have got no deposit bonuses and won freerolls so I haven't deposit anything and will try to not do that
But almost noone beilive me - they think its so strange to get free money, but when they say I'm lying I just ignore them - because I don't really care if they think I have mad an deposit or not.

Think im like most here, when i talk about poker to a "stranger" i can tell they think im full of BS, but my mates and family they know its true. Iv no need to lie about losses or winnings. But I do say iv never lost any money playing poker, most ppl dont understand that and have to tell the story of how i started. Most ppl first question is how much have you lost!
I am honest as Jesus, I know how much I lost I lost more than 500 $ ... all money lost on tilt - tilt is my bigest problem bad beats, fishes and donks beat my bankroll fewtimes

Exactly what I was thinking about But those stories are so old that im like......whatever All in all I think most of it is bull but a decent way to bond people.
Regarding poker I actually try to avoid talking about it cause most people doesn't get it. You can spend hours trying to explain and they are still so far behind but having how much time I spent on poker in the back of my head I would be surprised if they understood just the slightest after 2 hours I love money and wouldn't play poker if I was a loser. I don't even mention results to my friends as they would command me to pay all the beers
I'm honest about it. I have never deposited any money my self on a pokersite but still I have a decent bankroll so I'm proud of what I have accomplished so if they ask me how much I spended I tell them 0$ hehe

I am down in actual money because I deposited at party poker before I discovered BRM and the world of free money. I've never withdrawn money but I've got more than enough online to recoup my losses and more than double my spending assuming the sites would let me withdraw it.
