I would raise about $30-$35 there. If my math was correct the pot is that big and he opponent raises 16 if you raise 35 that almost the double and he probably would call.

its hard to say cause we have no info on teh other player .. but i think you have it... the other guy would of probably re-raised you on the turn if he had fours, but either way i would just call because there are a couple other hands out there than can have you beat.. by u re-raise u run the risk of 4 betting at the end which isnt a good situation for you.. call

I honestly think it depends on you. You had the 4th highest possible game. could only have lost to 4444 (to 44) or JJJ 44 (to JJ or J4) . If it was me I would re-raise to the lowest possible amount. Conservative yes, but hey you are new at the table... take it easy and see what´s out there.

He could be slowplaying his Pocket Pair of Jacks, but you already have alot in the pot - I will leave the dicission up to you, but I would fear of the Jacks.
You have a really strong hand, but its a low pair with chance of a house on the flop with jacks if he got it... It seems he is slowplaying them
------------ Only thing you could loose to is Pocket Jacks - He doesnt seem very offensive untill the 5 hits the communitycards, but it havent been too expensive to try and hit a streigh if he got 2,3 or 3,6 - and he would still have a strong hand even if the 5 didnt come - I would call

Hat mostly depend on player if he is looose you can raise more to get more if he is tight just raise a bit to dont scare hi,m and be carefull to not face quads .. that would be bad beat like hell
easiest 3-bet - call all-in.. pot-sized 3-bet is too agressive, 3/4pot is good here ( 52 * 3/4 = 39.. so bet 40$ here ).
we had 2nd best hand. JJ must raise preflop. only 44 can beat us. we can't play weak - because it very rarely we'll see 44, and if he had 44 - we must pay, because it is +EV move at the distation.

I would bet hard on river and shove (push all-in) to a raise if he's got a hand on the board it's a strong hand but very few will beat you, so get him to call your all in or make the imposible fold. If I may suggest pot size in HH would be great and easier to give more specific advice

With an unraised pot preflop I would take JJ out of the picture. so on the river What I like to do in this situation is wait call for time. tell him Well I got the 6s full i dont think you have me beat. then Raise 2x what his bet was. that is just enough to make him think you are bluffing at him. If he has the 4 or 4s full he will prob push. then you call. and walk away smiling. If he has Js full and pushes you call anyway because at this point your stuck and the odds of the js full is so slim. but that is what i would do.
i habitually reraise to three times what they bet, unless there bet is two small and then sometimes larger. this goes for preflop and post flop, i dont like the min raise because it is so weak and tends to give away those holding aa kk preflop, ( at low limits at least) i agree you have to raise, and i would raise to 50 just since its three times his bet.
