Gus Hansen had a rough start of 2009, loosing lots and lots of millions. Now however it seems like he's getting back on track as he has been playing much better lately and also thanks to a friendly board that has been running his way. Last weekend he won around $2,000,000, in just 2 days. This big win makes up for a lot of the money he lost in the beginning of the year.

This guy Gus is really one of the best players of the XXI century. It should be really hard to beat him. I once saw him for about 30 minutes and its is very unpredictable with the hands and the position he decides to go, and that is what makes him very good!!! You never know if he is AK or 23 and he plays always very agressive! Congratulations Gus, i still think that one day we will meet at the table. Than, we'll see...
------------ Oh, i forgot to say: Gus, when you decide to make your tournament associated with BRM, tell me, so i can finally be at a table against you

Those swings are so huge. I will never be a good player because i can't stand large swings. One day i lost $900 and i was depessed... a few week later i won $500 and i was on top of the world. LOL

Gus Hansen is an excellent player, so, for me it is no surprise his winnings. But he is a very aggressive player, so he can win a lot of money in a short time, but he can lose a lot too! But he has excellent poker skills! no doubt about it!

Ya, big swings in high stakes. I don't know why there are some players that will play anyone instead of finding weak opponents at lower stakes. But I guess it makes for good entertainment
