It is a fold! Always a fold! Specially in the first hand, if you dont know him and he makes an all in in the first hand the first thing you should expect is that he had an hand better than AQ. Luckily for you he was a donkey and you won! Congratulations

If you join a table to win, you have got to define your strategy first. For instance, if this was a freeroll tournament with 3.000 players, i would go all in, because we have got to start earning early in order to be available to continue for the longest time possible. But if this was a 10 player ring table with real money, i would fold, because 1.500$ is a lot of money to put in a hand like AQo.

All in first hand ?... i'd think this person is well out of there depth as i'd see that as a panic move.. when you dont know the right way to play it and just bump All in in desperation But i dont think id call id prob fold as its could be a bluff and you'd come up against AA or KK but you won so it was the right thing to do yeah!

I would definitly fold.
Think about how few times you would be favourite with AQ? How big of a favourite are you when it happens?
I admit many donks in heads-up at small blinds often throws Ax into an all-in regardless of the kicker as well as any low pair also is considered an all-in hand.
Against somebody where you feel superior in a heads-up you should fold an all-in at small blinds in situations where you analyze you are 60 % favourite. On the other hand if you acknowledge that your opponent is better an frequent all-in move is probably the best.
I can't quite understand why you only call with AQ though. Maybe you don't know your opponent, but raising him/her is also going to give you useful information. And in the heads up I would rather raise on time to many preflop than being bullied around.

Posted by racpxt: Preflop raise always. That's a very strong hand in HU, you should raise unless you know you can trap your opponent, when you know him/her. You are a slightly underdog to any pocket pair and in a very bad situation against AK or QQ+. I should fold, study the opponent a bit more, and if he/she is so dumb aggressive it will be easy to trap him/her with a strong hand.
But a call with AQ to an allin in a HU is not a bad play, you are ahead most of the time, but if you don't know your opponent, you can be risking to much.
Do u know anything about HU? Preflop raise with is not even necessary. If U have an opponent that raises all the time, better limp and Reraise again.... Wether the cards are rag or uberpremiums.
Fook me, i am a bit drunko atm, foirguve typos please.
