With all due respect, but you need to get a clue as well.
Swine flu is 100% treatable if caught in the early stages. Its only in the latter stages when organs begin to fail that it is almost impossible to cure.
99.9% of people who have got Swine Flu have gone on to make a full and 100% recovery its only in exceptional circumstances that death occurs.
To compare Swine Flu with the Bubonic plague is, well, just plain stupid.... The two are not even closely similar.
Then to lower the depth of the argument by mentioning children with cancer, sorry, thats even worse than the original joke which wasnt exceptionally funny I admit, but it wasnt distasteful in any way....

the point was and read carefully so you dont miss it for a 4th time........... its distasteful to laugh at others misfortunes ocasioning death which this has, making fun of something that when you get down to the nitty gritty isnt really funny---same as cancer same as being hit by a bus. fair enough my info wasnt 100% correct but of all the things to poke fun at theres millions and this is what you choose. just goes to show how many of you are of low to non existant moral fibre. grow up the lot of you. as for rug muncher your funny the way a clown is, cuz i know your a bit slow (laughing at you not with you). i hope when im 37 i have better things to do in life than sit here arguing the finer points of humor with a 25 yr old. sad!!! the bloke who started the thread wanted an opinion and i gave it just accept it and move on!!!!

Hey why was my post removed? I've never had a post removed before. It wasn't spam and it was relevant to the topic. Ok so the Jade bit was offensive but people can see that in the quotes. My point about the puns being old and not funny was perfectly valid. Now it looks like I just wrote something offensive about cancer.

I don't find it funny at all, but not my kind of humor anyway. Don't really care about the swine flu either, not many died yet (although 1 dead is already 1 too many). They will cure it.

for a 25 year old you have a serious problem if you cannot see that people can and do laugh at the misfortune of others. Whether it be something stupid they do or say, or some ill fortune that comes their way..
That is human nature... Something you appear to know nothing about.

I think the suggestion that rape was funny may be a very valid reason for removing what was completely pointless input into a debate...
That post was crass, low and served no purpose other than to inflame people and provoke a reaction.

I think your being just as stupid as hybrid. My point is that there is plenty of low humour out there taking jibes at very taboo subjects and it is the way you say it that makes it funny. If done correctly all bad taste humour can be good humour.
My favourite cartoon is family guy and rape, abortions and prom night dumpster babies etc are all targeted. This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. I was saying that swine flu is funny if dealt with correctly. Just look at the humour of Jimmy car who says that the best jokes make you laugh just before you gasp and feel guilty. There is nothing that can not be funny and I resent that you obviously reported me to admin when I was joining the discussion not to provoke but to make a valid point.

I find the whole thread funny, but the joke a little lame. The cancer remark is pushing it a bit, still made me lauugh, iv a bit of a sick humer, so what....(and yes iv lost a few who were close to me from cancer) With jade tho, I find it funny that before she got cancer she was hated, mainly for a suposed racist remark, then when she got it she become the nicest person in history, the whole world loved her, funny, nahh but true. Screw PC, lets smile..
