Well you could have folded when he reraised you. He kind of plays the hand exactly like a baby flush draw. I mean he checks the flop then raises the first bet and reraises you on the turn. Yeah your straight looks pretty good but theres a pretty good chance you are splitting at best.
btw I don't know if I would get away from it either.

Hi Curtis,
I think you could avoid this by betting and not checking on the turn. since rammmsteiner had a flush, he would raise you, and then you could have a clue that he had something more than your straight. By ignoring to bet when you had the chance, you have wasted that opportunity. I know some players would even bet with straight draw when the blinds are small just to discourage flush hopefuls to stay on.

Come on. After bet, raise, reraise he pushes all-in. If you are really lucky you just get freerolled here, but most of the time your opponent has a mede flush.

To start, raise, if you raised they can put you with an A, on the flop you would have to play it strong to get rid of the flush, so big bet providing he can drop a hand. The raise also lets you have a bit of info on there hand and might even get the pot before the flop. You got greedy and need to learn why a player is firing at you, looks to me he puts you on str8 and knows he can now milk it lol.

maybe raising pre flop would have been better, then a bet on the flop to see where you stand with him. If he calls both bets you know you're up against something, a check on the turn or a fold to a big bet because what else will he be betting? Since you don't know him and all you can beat is a bluff a lay down may be a little easier to make especially that early...
With a flush draw I find people usually call the first bet and fold to a big bet if they don't make the flush on the turn so that may be the way to go, but hold your horses if the turn brings a 5 flush possibility...
