What do you think about the FLOP ?

you think that if the bet is low you should allways see the flop to try to make some point or you think that betting without nothing is like paying taxes to the table ?

u have to consideer your table read, position , and cards proyection isnt profitable calling with 27o

Not quite, if the odds are right I can play the bad hand(full table of limpers or so), but chances are no one has a good hand so id be looking at taking the blnds.
What do you call low?, normall bet would be 3 BB cant go much smaller, so youd be a fool to keep calling them low bets. The only point you would be making is that you are a calling station.
So no, it would slowly kill my bankroll.

I don't want to give away my play style, but I see the flop 90% Tongue

I always take many factors into consideration including cards, my chips, opponents and table, but i see the flop only 30-40%, betting with poor cards with high blinds is surely gonna kill the bankroll.

90%, that is extreme loose. Me, myself I don't always see the flop, don't know the percentage, but well I change my playstyle on the regular. Sometimes super tight, sometimes you need to play looser (against players who play with weak hands). But still, I see less thatn 50%, way less I guess.

Depends on the table and the format. Against really bad players one can play more hands as usual. Also the hands strangth for full ring, shorthanded and HU differ.

Mistake, if there are many bad players in the table you should tighter your requeriments to enter in the hand, of course always talking about NL Texas Holdem

I think it depends on a lot of things, the people at the table, your reputation at the table also counts for a lot. These plays can be more profitable if you have a tight rep I think, then you may be able to bluff whatever comes, or if you hit then your hand will be disguised. But you also have to consider the overall e.v. of the hands you are playing. If you only expect to hit one out of twenty times calling with rags then you have to be sure you make at least twenty one times the cost of calling. If you loosen your calling requirements you must also realise that you will be facing much tougher decisions regarding what your opponent has because if you don't flop the monster (which you mostly wont) you have to be able to play mediocre hands which requires a lot more knowledge and skill...

In late positions with 1 or more limpers I can call conectors (suited and not), 22-99, suited Ace with low kicker, broadway cards, and some other suited cards. But not complite rubbish, I fold 50% of hands

I play 6 handed cash game and I c the flop anywhere from 50-80% of the time. But to c that much flops u need aggression and most ppl are too scared to put money out like that.

I don't play weak hands, its my money and I don't like giving it away with a weak hand. I only c the flop about 15-20% of the time, Its working for me, so Ill stick to that. Sometimes it does get frustrating if you just cant seem to get cards but you got to be patient to protect your bankroll, and also to make good profit in poker.

I'm getting more into 6 handed as I like the aggression and those tactics don't work as much 9-10 handed, plus I love seeing the flop but I agree with Albert, just don't have the patience for it a lot of the time. Something I'm working on in big mtt's at the mo...

id never call with 72 unless the other player was right on the ropes , i mean down to his last chip and i was sitting pretty with a much larger stack.
if you call too often with crap or at leaset poor hards you will always get out drawn in the long run. Disagree

no i don't think it's a good idea playing bad cards oly because is cheap, often you get trapped by the flop
for example you can hit top pair but if u have a low kicker ou can lose more money then the ones u used to see the flop.
so i prefer only play good cards

In a tournament with more than 100 players signed up I prefer to be very tight and wait for right hands.
Then when stack is built I begin to push and to see more hands preflop but never seen with 2 and 3 preflop Blink

tight is right, unless you're very skilled postflop. Otherwise, you're just givin' your money away

Off course not! It is stupid trying to see the flop always. Not only with 2 7 but with weak hands, some times it could happen but it depends of your position and the player you are playing against, or if you are trying to bluff. But normally i dont want to see the flop everytime!

No. About 60%.

If I have a "speculative hand" and I can see the flop for free or really cheap - that's fine. If it's costly - no, thank you, I simply fold. If my hand isn't good enough to raise with it, in most cases it's simply not worth to play - that's one of my rules. Smile
