Phil Shaws Secrets of Sit 'n' Gos, but it basically tells you to install a HUD tool to help you calculate your chip value (ICM). The last part of the book is a quiz. Boy did I flunk first time.

Dan Harringtons books on tournaments helped me alot. He gives some simple tools for analyzing your position all the time: maybe it's stuff that anyone will understand after playing a while, but the books gives you a shortcut and saves some entrance fees.
I also read "Small stakes Hold'em" by Sklansky, Miller and Malmuth, and it's a really good book for avoiding some mistakes on the micro-, low- and middle-limit tables. It also has soem good ideas about protecting hands when you chase straights and flushes, and counting outs based on the opponents hands,

I have read Harrington on Holdem volume I+II, Sklanskys basic beginners book and also his book tournament poker for advanced poker.
I plan on reading Moshmans famous SNG book when I get the time..... More fun to play than read about - but the latter probably is necessary in order to get good at poker

I havent read any poker books and i never gonna read one. Just waste of time reading someones opinion on how to win in a card game. If you learn the basics about poker (winning hands, different games structure eg omaha ,holdem etc) then its easy to find a way to play. I dont need anyone to tell me how to play my cards. Its not a rocket science

I have read Super System 2 and Ace On The River and they are both great books giving insight of how diffrent u can play a lot of hands and insight on a lot of stuff. I still want to read read Mike Caro's book of tells cuz most ppl don't no this but tells are a very crucial part of live poker especially when most ppl u play agaisn't at the casino know the exist and try not to give any tells but they always do anyways without their knowledge.
