169 starting hands, fav?  0
Ok, so if I´m not mistaken... in Holdem there are 169 starting hands.

Of course everybody likes AA KK QQ AK, well maybe not everybody but most do.

What I want to know here is what is your favorite hand, or at least a starting hand that you enjoy playing.

Come on be honest! You know that one hand, it doesn´t matter how much they raise pre-flop.. you are still gonna call just to see if your hand hits?!?!

YES, THAT ONE!!

A suited AK is my favourite! I believe it is a lot more "flexible" to play with than AA.

I think every hand has a specific value and making a hand your favourite is very dangerous. You said : "Come on be honest! You know that one hand, it doesn´t matter how much they raise pre-flop.. you are still gonna call just to see if your hand hits?!?!" I think this is a rookie way of thinking cause it will cost you in the long run to say I know he has got a better hand but.....this is my lucky hand so i'll take a chance. You should evaluta your game and find out if you are playing for fun or to win. If you are playing to win there is no such thing as a favourite hand !!

Wow, I must have posted the wrong question in the forum, but what I don´t understand is why then so many answered the post with THEIR favorite hands.

M3turbo, how can you say that you can´t have favorite hands? Are you a robot and expect everyone else to be a robot? Yes in the long run people have been successful even though they have a favorite hand. So what if once in awhile someone calls just to see if the hand hits... isn´t that just as risky as a bluff? And by all means, don´t tell me that to be a good poker player you can´t bluff either!

Give me a break

Give this thread a break

and above all, give yourself a break and lighten up!
