AARRGGHHHHHHHHH ! All the time, All the bloody time. Why does it seem like its me all the time, I play a nice game, get to 4 left (9 seater SnG). In the small blind and get AK, I lok at the others as they fold around to me ,,, I raise to 2/BB and the BB goes all in! He has been an agressive little player most of the game and has bullyed everyone. SO I waite a little and call.......(Has to be the right decission)? So the cards come over and he has KK Do you think i can hit an Ace????? NO Never in a month of Sundays. Even if the flop was 10 cards i dont think i'd get my Ace.............
Is calling the all in right on the bubble correct??? Im starting to doubt myself now.
AK is 14th best preflop hand after 22-AA. It's a coinflip with any 22-QQ and you are ahead vs Ax and anything he can resteal you. Call and nothing else

Well, what he said... But don't forget to analyze your opponents! If you know he is a very tight player you might want to reconsider. I wouldn't call someone you haven't seen all day and suddenly goes all in.

even bully catches cards sometimes. the hard thing is desiding if hes bluffing or bullying next time why dont you try just calling and see what he does if he raises all in he prob got something if he raises 2 or 3 bb maybe not so good just bully bet. but i feel your pain and my keyboard has as well

Instant call. Even against a weaktight. You are in a race against QQ- and almost dead only against KK and AA, almost tied against any other AK. Ahead against any other hand, if he his a bully he can have a wide range probably behind you.
And remember, you are playing A SNG not THE SNG. With AK you will be ahead most of the time, so in a long run you will have positive balance. Think long term not short. Have a bankroll with about 50 buy ins to play comfortably and profitably.
And raising to only 2BB is a DONKEY/FISH move. At least 3. Less than 13BB in your stack then your options are only PUSH or FOLD.

as shortstack i made a sitout to get at least itm if i see that sit out would lift me itm( and get no good cards to play or push) but then i got AA and have to decide to push or fold... as i pushed my 3,5BB i`ve got 4 callers and dominate 3 of them the other called with KJs and hit the flush on the river.. well done... thats a heavy decicsion to push such hands if you get many callers and then kicked out instead of being itm

You got what you deserved. Getting yourself blinded down to 3,5 BB
Naturely you got called by everyone and his brother.

Sometimes it cant be helped, and you find yourself left with 3BBs, wich depending on stage is not to bad eg, 3bb left in late position ante is around 200, and blinds are 1k 2k (so you have 6) now you can push any time for min of 5k, now back to 11BB, not too bad. What im trying to say is 3 BB is ok late stage, the game can change real fast, 2 wins and your a threat. Nout wrong with your call xxxbchxxx, unlike my damn connection....

no i lost 5 hands before a big pot with a nutstr8 against the typical runnerrunnerflush .. they cant fold flushdraws in that lowlimit mtt´s ...potodds* ? and then i decided to fold every hand instead of my bb (there was only 5 to go and this would happen in the next orbit...) to get my buyin back ... and i didnt get any this way..

I will bet but no way I will call, if the villain has 2 poket pair than I always have about 50%. And at this situation I need > 60% win rate to make a call, but maybe I will bet because I have the chance to steal the pot

Fold anyway for me I never liked AK in the first place AK is a drawing hand. AK sux bigtime. It's not worth to push with it on the bubble. ( for my own stats)

i never go allin with Ak, unless i'm sure opponent doesn't have pair. Ak is a calling hand not allin. so always a fold for me but if he's a bully i might consider calling. u just got unlucky

yeah, you should raise more, at least three time. With two bb you give him odd to call with everything!! And if he go all in, i think you can call : he can have AA or he can have A5
