I have been analizing some of my data, seeing when and where i'm making the most proffit. I've found out that i make more in the afternoon even thou i like to play in the evening.
I like to play in the evening as its quite in my house then, but when i play in the afternoon (when the kids are at school) i seem to get better results. I can see looking back that i play more hands if i play in the afternoon over the evening! (so i win more when i'm a little looser)? The only reson is i tell myself that the people i'm playing during the afternoon on FTP are playing in the early hours of there day (mostly American's) so thay must be good / better as i'm presuming they play all day every day (i see a lot of familliar names). So for these people i loosen up and play very aggresive. When it comes to the evening i play a lot tighter as there are more maniacs about.
Does anyone else have a good time or better results during a set period?

If the time are local to the site then its real hard to say as they all are diffrent. UK time id say for cash games its better (softer) weakends and late afternoon - early morning (on US excepted sites) non US tends to be a little earlyer and not as late , so id say 6+ none US, 8+ for US If you play MTT, forget the time just stick to the same game/same time, you will come across pritty much the same opponients giving you a bit of an edge at final tables. But just cus there are more/softer player later does not mean easy targets unless you choose the table, if you pick a table at random then the time does not matter too much.

So....I'm the only one who thinks it's better to play during daytime? I voted 12:00 - 15:00 because there are usually not so big fields in MTT's and a lot of ABC-poker going on. Had all my biggest wins in this time period. Could also have something to do with me being at the top of my day, if you understand what I mean.
Agreed that there's a lot of fish out swimming after eight in the evening, but that's also when the sharks come out to feed - and combined with large fields in MTT's I'm usually to tired when it get's close to bubbletime/money.

I think that the best hour to play is between 18:00 and 21h. At this hour there are not so many players after 21 and at the same time they are not so few as in the morning. Because in the morining and early afternoon the playerss that are in the cash ta<bles play to tight! I think this hour is the best and is my favourite!

i find the morning is best for me.im more awake and my concentration levels seem to be higher.ive noticed i get more beats when my moneys in with the better hand when there are a lot of fishier players about simply because there are more players playing hands and calling bets they really shouldnt so the percentage of hands i lose is a lot higher.
I think it is becouse people get unfoucused after a couple of hours and tries to win a big pot before they go to bed. And then I am there to collect on their poorer play.

I usualy play mostly during the afternoon, after regular daytime job, but i notice a very big diference when i play during week days and during weekend. Normaly at friday and saturday night, its very common to get a lot of pocket full fish ready to become a calling station during all night. Its unbelieveble the number of guys playing $10 SnG and doing no-sense calls, grabing their A7 till the river just to see if they win with high card... But if you play during the week, these guys are working and you will only get medium guys at tables.
I had to vote in 21.00- 00.00 ( and sometimes more ) because during tha day I have to work Weekends offer me some more chance to play in different hours

I prefer Afternoon, but generally its depend of how much time i play : if ive just begun, i need to warm up... then, if play since 1h-2h, im really hot : this is the massacre XD .. then, when i become tired (after 4 hours) i better stop, or risk to make some dangerous moves...
