My second poker room on the web was Partypoker, and I signed up there just because I've heard the name and would get a certain odds calculator for free. I hadn't played a lot of internet-poker, but had some solid poker- and mathskills, so I thought I'd give it a chance.
I looked around and discovered the whole satellite-tournament business and decided to give it a chance. First I studied some books about tournament poker, and then I went at it: A 3$ satellite to the weekly 300K tournament. I did good in the satellite and won a ticket.
Sunday night, I got ready with a couple of beers in the fridge, a variety of food ready if needed and my girlfriend in full responsibility of the baby. With full concentration I played along the guidelines I've read about. I went along great, but then I lost a lot of chips against a bad player who played a pair of 3:s against my kings and got a straight. Shortly after that there was a break so I could take a deep breath and get my head cleared.
So i struggled along, made the payouts and played pretty good. Suddenly, it was all over, I went all in against a better hand, but I finished 25th, which gave me 1500$. Not bad for my first week!

Thanks. I can't say I've been able to keep it up (which would be nice: earning 1497$ / week ) but since I continue to play small stakes it will be a loooooong time before I start showing negative numbers, no matter how bad my losing streaks get (and I am in a pretty ugly one right now, mainly due to lack of sleep and stupid plays I make because I miss obvious hints)

sweet ska försöka sätta ett mål att nå tills den 20onde och se om det går bra, nyss börjat med en ny stil och alla som jag spelar mot är förvirrade så det ser ut att fungera lycka till i framtiden

A great win in your first week. Seems like you know your skills and manage to use them playing. I guess we might hear from you again
Thanks. Lets hope that we do hear from me again, but at the moment pokers to time consuming and I only have 1,5$ on fulltilt . Lets see if I can turn it into 750$ in one week

Impressive! You just prooved to all those stubborn new players that taking the right aproach kan pay off big time. You took the efford to study the game by reading some books and you got rewarded for it!

very very well
i would play the satellites to bigger weekend tournaments too , but this would start some interpersonal problems at home and i have only 1 real weekend the month because of my shift-work
