Didnt finish up in those poker tournys last night, oh well you cant win them all. Got playing some 1/2NL and had a REALLY bad swinging time. All said and done im at $250, so down about $30 from last night. I am currently trying to work off a bonus i have, $1000 10 stepper, 800 points for every $100. Playing 1/2 for a few hours a day gives me 100+ points, so over the past 2 days iv raked around 220 points towards the 800. Tomorrow is my g/f's day off so we are going out all day, which is a good thing because all this poker is getting me wangy lol. Iv notice since yesterday that i have been overly cocky and my game has suffered because of this. I plan on taking a day or two off from this point forward. I need to take a step back and collect myself, re-read a few books, and just create a new game plan to be able to work off a nice amount of points, and not risk so much of my bankroll, because as we all know, 1/2 with a $250 roll is not BR managment lol. I am happy that I cashed $500 , but I would like to keep on using this $250 as my main bankroll. I definatly need to take a step down in limits i think...but I am so used to 1/2 FL as this is what i play in the casinos(1/2 FL | 2/4 FL | 5/10 FL) when i drop down to .25/.50 FL it just isnt exciting and doesnt really hold my interest, i start making bad calls, raising with marginal hands...and slowly tossing my chips away, and when i do win a pot, its like woop de doo $4.50! lol any advice tips or suggestions as far as how I should continue with my bankroll from here would be appreciated. No more poker for a day or two I said...lol that never works when your bored at night and looking for action. Started off playing 1/2 FL again...im terrible i know lol. Went from $250 to $300 in 3-4 hands. Unlike usual there was no 1/2 tables running so I sat down with $20 and 2 people joined. got dealt aces, AK(hit my ace) and one other hand i dont remember and I felted both players, winning $50 . From $300 BR i played the $3 500 guarantee, around 229 people entered. This is the same tourny I won 2 nights ago. After an hour and 30 minutes I went out in 5th place, blinds at 15K/30K going on 20k/40K and my stack at 24K. I pushed with KQ suited and flopped my queen, to bad the guy had A9 and hit his A. Turned a K and was about to cheer untill the river was a 9, out in 5th. Was not bad, and i did end up winning $40 and change. I am currently at $341 and im done for tonight. 18 days, 5653 hands,390 hours playing = $500 Cashed, $340BR (+$785 net Ring games and Tournys) Heretik
