The Great Phil Ivey wooooo, I was shocked too because it's not really his specialty that event and he also was not even in the top 5 when they were 8 players down I think. Wow congrats Worship

Another Pokerstars promise climbing his way till the WSOP top ten bracelets. Being almost loosing in the final table and build the bank again from the start to finish winning the game should be a fantastic feeling. In this year's event many records are being beatten and many newbyes are showing up: poker world will suffer big changes when WSOP is over.

------------
Sorry i called Ivey a Team Pokerstars member, i mean a Fulltilt member (who is already the face of every Fultilt publicity on the net). Sorry if hurted someone's feelings....

Wow! Phil Ivey continues to prove everybody that he is an excellent player. One more bracellet to his collection, I think that the prize for him dont mean much he wins more than that in a night playing high stakes in full tilt! Tongue

How many players played in it? Must have been like a 100 but still a nice win Smile

How many WSOP tournaments do the pros play in a year?

2-7 is not one of the popular games, so only a field of 147 players.

I just love the style of Ivey. He looks like there is something seriously wrong with him when he sits looking left-right-left-right-left-right and then makes the right descision. Bet he has a photographic memory to. And bad social skills.

Ya, not many players. I checked and there's 57 WSOP tournaments for 2009, do you know why so many? I think there should only be 7-8, one bracelet for 8 most popular games. They're giving out too many bracelets I think Smile
