Oh last night was brilliant and frustrating....all in one First i logged on as normal checked my bankroll to set out a plan for the night ahead......(if im a little flush i'll play Sng's if not i'll grind a bit on the open tables).
Imagine how supprised i was to see my bankroll had grown over night by $400 Not sure how this happened at this point I told my wife how said i should go into a big tourny with the extra $$$ as i will not miss it (bear in mind my bankroll usually rolls along between $50 and $200 before i'll withdrawal a little). Not wanting to blow all the extra $$$ i sat down in a $110 turbo 9 seater SnG and duely come in second winning $290 odd......cool
As i'd only turned the pc on and rushed straight in to playing i took a little time to go through my emails whilst still enjoying my bloated bankroll. I then saw a email from FTP telling me that the $300 i had cashed out a few weeks earlyer (by check) had been cancelled by FTP as there was a problem with there bank so they had repaid the $300 in to my popker account....Oh The next email also from FTP told me that due to there mistake and to compensate me a little they had then deposited an additional $100 in to my account...
Now that is what I call a result...BRAVO FULLTILT POKER
Thats the good part........
I sat back down to play and was going to enter a $200 game but there didnt seem to be any action at that level only a few people waiting for heads up games so i played a $110 6 seater turbo SnG. I played good and was chip leader when we was down to 3 players, As soon as the 4th person went out the table tightened up considerably and it was obvious that we all wanted to make the cash.. The player before me took full advantage of this fact by going all in every hand and i mean EVERY HAND he come from bottom to top in about 8 hands as the blinds were 200 and 400. He pumped me every time and it was sooooo frustating as i didnt even get a glimps of a decent hand, even when he was BB and i was first to act i didnt feel comftable pushing with no cards (i was hemeraging chips) I went down to 600 and got a double up plus BB to take me to 1600. The third player had push all in against this crazy person and got lucky with 99 Vs QQ so he was sat there with 2800. My BB rolled round and i was holding A10o,........ I knew he would push all in and i was ready to call. I didnt belive he had a hand most of the time i knew he was just taking advantage of our tightness to cash.. so i was sure i'd call him with A10o. UTG folded and he went all in i called wich put me all in and the cards went over he held 10 5. YES i said till the flop hit 5 K 10 The turn was a 4 and the river was a J
Well............................ i was livid to say the least... im not nornaly a swearer but i called him a few choice words (i didnt type them in just said them) as im not a poor looser or bitter about being so tight. He saw a weakness in my play and he exploited it to his gain but 10 5 ...... I knew that he didnt have good cards most of the time he went all in but i was unable or unwilling to do anything sooner so i come out in 3rd with 0$
But after i could not play i could not even sit down i was so angry my wife said i should think of the last game where i finished 2nd but i tried to explain to her ... I'ts not about winning the money its about beating the others and winning to come out with a loony holding 10 5 is shocking especialy at that level (i thought)
EVEN IF I'D WON $10,000,000 COMING THIRD ID STILL WANT BLOOD AFTER LOOSING TO 10 5 MANIAC.

i have no concrete example, but whenever i loose against some of these lowbobs going all-in with 34 and winning, although i have got AA it really makes me feeling aggressive and in fact of that i just turn of my pc and go smoking xD

Posted by shokaku: Take it like a man. When the blinds are that high, a lot is decided by pure luck. That is why you should not play so high with a tiny bankroll.
+1
Same old story, poor BR management, but you obviously have enough money else you wudnt do it
AT versus T5 is still a flip with a extra weight on 1 side, its sick but happens everyday, just unlucky...

Wouldent say poor bankrollmanagment if you read his outher threads/posts, seams quite happy to deposit and play, win or lose. What can you do, no player did anything wrong here, it was forced in to a luck game, suprised more that 3 made it past 400 bb. You can not win them all, if you think you can or will quit now or you will be very dissapointed. The only thing I think you could have done is joind him, get your chips in before him and fold on his play, you know he is manic and is all in you took a gamble. A10 vs 10-5, not a flip.(75-25)

Still a flip with extra weigth on 1 side, read Mr B1gfoot
Yep and the extra weight makes it not a coin flip. A coin flip is 50/50 think in poker we can give a little say 45/55 when its 75/25 its not a coinflip, unless the coin has 4 sides and one is weighted.

Yeah, the 1:3 is definetely the coinflip, but in such situations he will usually have 2 lower unpaired cards, co your winnig chances are like 3:5 and it is more like coinflip

Mr b1g cant read amazing I didnt say coinflip, i said flip Every 2 cards showdown is a flip right? 50/50 60/40 30/70 15/85, its still a flip. 60/40 is a flip with a coin thats a littl bit weighted on 1 side
Why ur tilting Mr B1g? Stop hittin ur head to a wall ur gettin a headache

Agressive bubbleplay is the major reason why some people win more and lose less. Your opponent knows how to play bubble and he or she deserved to first or a second place.

Strangly enough i agree they did deserve to cash.... its hard but true. But did they deserve to win with a worse hand or did they deserve to come unstuck for playing s**t cards?

It can be very annoying when a player sitting right too you raises/pushes every upportunity he gets. I allways try to sit at a seat with a tight player too my left, so when i am in trouble i can steal a lot knowing he only calls with a monster.
