Good story, I know the feeling. A few weeks ago I lost in 3rd position on pokerstars, 11 dollar tournament with about 5000 players. I was playing tight and went all in with KK the guy on the BB called me with 78s :S I had him covered also, and ofcourse he hit his flush.

Agressive bubbleplay is the major reason why some people win more and lose less. Your opponent knows how to play bubble and he or she deserved to first or a second place.

Strangly enough i agree they did deserve to cash.... its hard but true.
But did they deserve to win with a worse hand or did they deserve to come unstuck for playing s**t cards? Question

It really doesn't matter what people deserve. What they win is the only important thing

completely agreed.
But don't forget that fishes and maniacs are the joy of good players as you all are

I usually blame myself and think I have to learn harder.

Think you will win it all back against those kind of players or make a stand earlier next time and maybe you suckout on him

When i see that i lost consecutive games to players who didn't deserve to win and only did so because i prefered to go try to still someone's bonus, first i know it was my fault (because if i want to play good poker aginst people of my level i don't have to be afraid of going to the $10 SnG tables or $0.10/$0.20 ring tables), but then, instead of shuting the pc down, i rather enter on revenge mode and show "first-time-bonus-winners" that i am playing the game for a longer time than them. Most of times i am able to return my losses... but its always a bad feeling to loose against poor players Angry

I wonder if the all-in-everytime is a good strategy for low stakes ring games. I played a ring game with a stupid-loose player. When I get the AKo and he raises I reraise and he is all in with K10o, and loses. Gets more money. Then he reraises holding A9o and meets QQ and loses. Gets more money. A few hands later, he is all in, this time with A4s, and gets called by A7o. Manages to get the wheel and wins, and is now +-0!

Since he acts crazy, the other players lower their requierments for calling and gives him a better chance. When people call with A7o he can get an edge. Of course I know it's not a strategy, just a crazy player, and I also know how to take advantage of him. When I lose, I just shut the table down and go do something else, swearing like hell. And I also put the poor player on my deathlist, which I store in my cpu.

In the poll i choosed "shut down the pc", because it would be the ideal thing to do. But most of the times i became mad and try to recover the losses! Wrong thing to do. In online poker it is essential not to tilt! Because probably we will lose more money than we think!

A10 vs 10-5, not a flip.(75-25)

Still a flip with extra weigth on 1 side, read Mr B1gfoot Agree

Not a flip, learn Mr doomdy Agree

Btw imo it's better to sit left of the LAG than sitting right to TAG. The TAG you'll be able to steal some blinds here and there and then once a while he will catch you with hands in the cookie jaw, but by sitting left of the LAG you'll be able to light 3bet the LAG and get much more + the times he calls you'll play the hand in pos.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo

Mr Turbo ur pro now, u must know evry 2 cards is a flip.
50/50 is no weight at the coin.
40/60 is littl weigth at some side.
20/80 is huge weight at some side.

Yeah yeah I got your weight point but I think in poker lingo a "flip" is short for coinflip.

bad luck buddy.but, i mean, those things happen all the time..all we have to do is be prepared, and of course not playing in higher limits than those your bankroll allow you to..

Hum. In that case I will stop playing. At first I will blame myself. Then i will take a little rest and will try to earn more than what I loose last time. So, no chance to switch off the PC!
