Danish Rocket !!  0
Has anyone heard of "bjonne" ?

A danish 0,25-0,50 player who saturday night decided to have some fun with a rocket so he took 2 BI's from his bankroll and played HU PLO100 when he had a BI for next level he stepped up. He did this until 01 GMT+1 where he was playing PLO5K (Blinds 25/50$) against known pro's such as KObyTAPOUT, Eric Liu, Sunra18, __FullFlush1__ and pr1nnyraid.
Last I heard from him he was at 26K$ Shock

I will throw in some HH's even though the post probably gets very long:

Nice days work :}
Do you know if he is going to continue playing these limits?

Just looked at his stats, not ver impresive, guessing this is a one of luck run, no risk no gain GL to him.

PLO, ante tables, deep. That is the version of poker played in hell. But nice run by that guy. Is he known as M3turbo in some internetforums?

@B1gfoot

He said he would stop several times but he kept winning huge amounts so I think he found hard to stop. He started out by posting in DK's main pokerforum that he had done the sickest rocket overnight and had reached PLO2K and now had 12K$ roll and would probably stop soon, but he kept going and suddenly he was playing PLO5K. He then said I will stop in 30 min and kept going a couple of hours. When he stopped he said that he had withdrawn 2,5K$ but would continue on PLO2K tomorrow. When tomorrow came he sat at PLO5K anyways Smile but continued to win. Suddently he stopped posting, I think he realised his rocket was on a tax related site and his thread had 18500 views and 450 post's Shock
I know he talked about taking everything out and start playing regularly on PLO200 but I don't know if he can keep away from high stakes now that he has beat the level for some days.

@shokaku

I can't fool you huh Big Smile naaahh sadly not wish it was Smile

My last rocket was with 10$ Vulcan bonus from BRM it peaked at 480$ or so and then completely died Agree

Yes when it comes fast and easy it becomes very addictive.
Judging only by his tourn stats id say he is soon to blow most of that if he keeps it up.
But you never know it could be durrrr all over again....

Yeah I haven't seen his tour stats but I hope for him he can stop while the game is fun cause playing with 5-10 BI's against top pro's is pure poison. But who knows.....like you said he might be DK's answer to Durrrr Tongue

Wow thats some going he must have been wetting him self down with some coolaid lol
No seriously well done to him he either had some sick luck with some monster hands or just had the ability to read his oponients real well..
What a rocket .. i only dream of playing at that sort of limit...(one day mate ,keep telling yourself that).
Has any one here dome any thing simmilar? any rocket graphs banging about? post them here.

Hard to say, the games change all the time and the laws too. Actually 1 of the downsides of being online pro....you never know where online poker is in 5-10-20 years.
Besides it's impossible to predict a winning rate at a level you never played. I mean you would only consider turning pro if you could earn 20K$/month~240K$/year.

Awww missed this felt asleep i guess Tongue

Yeh got ur point, its not that i need to go pro, its just that i see upportunities i can make it, its a goal and when i have a goal i must finish it.
Many people i know (real live/internet/PKR) call me an idiot for playing so low stakes with so big bankroll, but i dont really care, i know i play too low but do this my way.
I tasted a littl bit of the $50 stakes (not really high sample size but also not small) and my ROI is over 25% which isnot bad considering my ROI at $10 is much lower Tongue

I am allmost sure i can make sometin like $5K a month if i play constently $50 and finding the perfect rakeback deal but thats not my goal, ill stick too my plan even if my bankroll goes faster then i planned too Tongue

I know my strong points and i defitnitly know my weak points, for now i am not really much better then 1 year ago, maybe more steady, but still only play my cards and not the player which is imo pretty weak, i mean i feel i make money just cos off the weakness of my oponents and not of the strong play i play (still understandable? Tongue)

So doomdy is right on track where he wants to be Smile
2009 i finish my way up too $20K then set new goals problably $20+ stakes regular/DoNs.
(Yeh i need to get rid off the DoNs to learn better poker Tongue)

So Turbo enough of me wots ur story lately, allways like to hear ur story but u werent much around on the forum lately (Maybe cos off the low input on here? 2+2 much better right?)
Well, hope to hear ur story and ur goals Smile

GL

(Whahahahahah sry i need to write this down, i just checked my ROI on sheduled, 188%, Average profit $7 a game lolll, i even have the ''Shark'' Symbol on me lollll, crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile)

This bjonne plays fine, i don't know if this was just a lucky raly, despite the number of flushes M3Turbo showed up here. When a new guy shows up in a table of usual oponents (like what happened here) atentions tend to be right at him and that is what happened.
