I try to always have a goal. If it's about poker, girlfriend or school doesn't matter. It could be "toady I'm going to do 100 push ups" or "I'm definitely going to enjoy this party as much as I can".
Another tip is to always try and make other people happy. If the support bombs you with new offers, just be happy and polite back to them. I used to freak out and go on super tilt, now I'm trying to get them into a conversation

Some insperation here :}, so to be happy i must smile at outhers, hang with my buddys have a drink win a game and then sleep with xxxbchxxx wife...do I have to do the pirate thing?

Yeah and that's when I make an exception from "always try and be nice to other people", when I run into a real bastard, I have no problem telling him what I think about him
