Which way you use to grow your bankroll? What type of game do you play?(cash, sit&go's,tourney). Are there any players who play only heads up?Is it possible to grow a bankroll only from heads up?
personally I don't think it's possible, the swings are just to big. I think it's a good way to grow you bankroll as a second source, but the main income I think comes from sng's and cash games.

Naturely it is possible. But at a HU table there is no way to hide. If one player has an edge on the other one, he has that edge all the way. So be sure you are the better player.

At level $5-$20 there are so many omaha donks at HU unreal, even for me (i am not a great omaha player) its easy too be EV+ They think 3 of a kind/2 pair is the nuts. Its basicly waiting for a straight or nuts flush ect and get paid off.

Posted by doomdy: I tried some HU omaha PL, i did well, but its hard to multi them, 2 tables is doable but 3 is difficult for me.
youre right.i mean playing 3 or 4 sit&go at the same time during the beginning and middle of them its easy, but in the end when you stay headsup with another guy, i find it difficult to play like 2 at the same time.i need to be fully concentrated in headsup..
so i think its possible to build a bankroll playing only HU, but it takes more time..

I don't think its possible to grow your bankroll by headsup alone. There will be many donks at low stakes and you have to be a very good hu player to maintain profit. I think doubleup sngs and cash games are best for growing bankroll

I prefer HU SnGs to HU cash games as the rake can get out of control. Plus there are now many kids trying to become the next durrr and playing like retards...

Yeah, especially at FTP, its a paradise for mid(high)-skilled HU players... (omaha is totally full of donks, but NLHE is a little harder to play) I just started studying HU and I might be kicking some asses soon, but its really a lot different from cash games and SNG play, so it will take some time until I get used to it....

I think the best way is to play cash games, too. Because you have more choice although its take your times. Play cash game you still earn points if you fold.
Yes if you start at the $10 stake because the low $2 SitnGo heads up game' rake fee is too big and you're not going to make nice profit... but I would not recommend you to play heads up if you want to grow your bankroll.

All here are aiming at HU SnGs. But there are HU cashgames too.
