Do what ever you think will give you the biggest pay off.
To wich i mean if you think you would benifit from purchase some hands to use with holdem manager, then do it.
Poker is about feel if you feel you are getting ahead then thats good.
Do you think your game is in need of a little tightening up?
I personaly have not tried this and to be honest , but i do already have a style of poker tracker that will play back hands and break down you play by year / month / week / day / hand ect and analize your pre flop post flop turn river and showdown.
Basically it does everything except play the hand for you......... but can tell you how you played it wrong..lol 
and i got mine for free after completing / getting a set amount of points from a diff site.
