I don't have a twitter account and sorry but I really don't want one. Facebook is more than enough. I still need to get rid of my bebo. I really don't get twitter. It's only taken off cos of the celebs behind it and I don't get why anyone would want everyone knowing everything about their boring lives.

I don't have any celebs on my private twitter account, I don't care about gossip But it's cool to follow a few poker players and other tech savvy people, sometimes you get some good links and ideas. But of course, twitter ain't for everybody - just like poker, and internet in general.

Teddy, I don't think it's even possible to put in any personal information... besides your name, but you can put your first name only, if you want. And it would be cool of you would tweet about your poker results once in a while
umarplus, no not really... you wrote it in one word, I see: http://twitter.com/umarplus I don't think "@" at twitter means "at" the same way as it does with email. It's more a sign you put to indicate a username, @bankrollmob in this case. If you try again and make sure @bankrollmob is standing alone, then I think you should be fine.

Sorry.No offense intended to anyone
Maybe this will help you, which was posted at www.work.com
But...Twitter is stupid! Solution: Follow smart people Many people sign up for Twitter, all excited, and then...nothing happens. They don't get it or think it's stupid. Why? Because they have not yet found interesting people or businesses to follow. You need to find people to follow and convince others to follow you to make it all interesting, addicting, and useful!
I recommend: Try searching for people in the Twitter "find folks" search box. But remember, lots of interesting people don't use their real name or full name on Twitter. You need to find just one interesting person to start with, click on their Twitter page, and then click the "Follow" button. You will start seeing their updates when you visit Twitter. If you enjoy following that person, see who they are following, and you can add some of those people too. Often when you follow someone, they will follow you back.
